All that is obvious to anyone here is that you New England losers can’t take any sort of criticism whatsoever. Biggest wusses on PFT (or elsewhere). And the ‘Thumbs Down” totals can be manipulated, idiot. Look BB lied and cheated for years. He was the ONLY coach who “didn’t understand” that rule. And then after getting caught he did a cover-up. His denials can’t be believed and there is more than sufficient evidence for doubt.

For sure, the Patriots are a great football team and Tom Brady will be in the HOF one day. But those championships are tainted. The fact that they haven’t won any since, despite being dominant in 3 of the 4 seasons since getting caught is telling.

Also, the 2000 Ravens stole the Giants playbooks, so they also cheated. Go ahead, prove me wrong. LOL

And the 2007 defense was covered up by the fact that the Patriots were getting up 21-0 on teams and forcing them to go one dimensional. Take a look at the 2006 AFCCG against the Colts, where they gave up 32 second half points.

to further drive home the point that the pats had been taping signals for quite some time is the fact that mangini called them out on it in 2007. and he started coaching the jets in 2006. when mangini blew the whistle he said it was common practice for the pats to videotape signals.

i’ll connect the dots for you. pats get caught for taping signals and have a few reg season game tapes from 2006 and 1 preseason 2007 tape along with their taping of the jets in the opener. mangini blows whistle on pats in 2007 after opener, saying he knows it’s been going on for a while and is common practice. pats turn over tapes from 2006-07. if they only had tapes from those 2 years mangini wouldn’t say it was common practice and has been going on for a while or have any idea that it happened against him in the opener.

The ONLY other team in the history of the NFL (since merger) to win 3 in 4 years is the Dallas Cowboys of the 90s. Not the 49ers of the 80s-90s, not the Raiders or Steelers of the 70s. The ONLY team(s) to do it are the Patriots(* see footnote) and the Cowboys.

*The Patriots were subsequently caught cheating and the headcoach fined the maximum amount possible and the organization forfeited their first round draft pick upon getting caught. The Patriots have won zero Super Bowls since getting caught despite having significantly more dominant teams in 2007 and 2010. The writer would like to acknowledge mrsconnors for pointing us towards the phenomenal, albeit futile, seasons of 2007 and 2010.

I’ll give Brady credit for having a good game against the Panthers. It became a shootout. I mentioned steroids because the Panthers were busted taking them before SB38, I just find it funny that no one mentions this.

The Patriots offense against the Eagles sputters again, going 3 and out a whole bunch of times, while the defense forces 4 turnovers. If I remember correctly, the Patriots didn’t have a scoring drive past the 50 and got basically all of their points off of those turnovers.

That’s just the Super Bowl games. You can throw in the Steelers 2001 title game where the special teams scored two touchdowns and the Patriots offense had about a whopping 250 yards total. Or the Titans game where they scored 17 points. Or the Colts game where Ty Law picked off Manning quite a few times. And so on.

The games are there. Watch them. And I’m aware that Brady was the starter after Bledsoe got hurt. But since you didn’t watch, you wouldn’t know that Bledsoe came in against the Steelers after Brady got hurt in the 2001 AFCCG.

That’s obvious, given the amount of time you spend on here (as evidenced by the amount of posts here authored by you).

Looks like you have plenty of company in the form of New England no-lifers (as evidenced by the disparity of “thumbs up, thumbs down” totals on any given post by any Pats fan vs. any Pats non-fan). A distinct example of the fact that “majority rules” is usually not the correct means of determining which side of any argument is correct.

Keep believing spygate was the reason you lost those AFCCG’s despite the fact that the Patriots scored 2 special teams TD’s in 2001 and without spygate have beaten your overrated team’s ass WORSE since. 34-13 and 39-26. Brady owns you.

Wow, everyone, the Patriots taping defensive signals was the reason they won those titles! I mean, they had the 19th ranked offense in 2001! And they scored 3 offensive touchdowns in three games in the playoffs! Drew Bledsoe was clearly cheating when he went 10-21 for 100 yards against the Steelers! Brady torched the Rams for 140 yards! They NEVER would have got this without spygate!

You asked how bad the offense was without spygate? Well, they only broke the record for points in a season in 2007 and were historically efficient in 2010. You know, without those magic signals. What a huge advantage it was.

You say they can’t win a Super Bowl anymore because they’re defense stinks. The defense has been more than serviceable the past several years (only exception being so far this year).

You say that the offense was garbage even though they were taping defensive signals. I suppose this is to imply that they gained nothing from cheating. Then how bad would they have been if they weren’t taping?? And wasn’t Brady Mr. Clutch? How many clutch drives did he have at the end of the game?!

If (as you claim) defense and special teams is all it takes to win a Super Bowl, and the “crappy” NE offense had nothing to do with it, why the Ravens only win one and the Steelers only win 2 in the past decade, while the Patriots won 3 in 4 years. Keep drinking the Kool-Aid.
