Getty ImagesThere were increasing indications this week that Frank Gore could miss Sunday’s game against the Eagles, with multiple reports indicating it was a good possibility.
Instead, it looks like Gore will suit up.
Sal Paolantonio of ESPN reports Gore will start Sunday. His backup Kendall Hunter figures to have an increased role.
Florio reported on Saturday that Gore’s ankle should not be a long-term concern.
UPDATE: The 49ers announced Gore will play, but Hunter will start.

Blah, cut Reggie Bush for Kendall Hunter on my fantasy team this week, and here their supposed roles at the beginning of the week have reversed with one another.
The long term concern is his body breaking down.
