Upon the death of Al Davis, I find it ironic that, according to your login name of "lance19" you are a fan of Lance Alworth!!!!!

With that being said.... Who, in all probability, is the most famous Charger (Shout out to Dan Fouts, Coach "Air" Coryell).

Let me ask you this: Why did Lance have "Al" present him as a hall of fame inductee?????

Did you even know that??? I'll give you credit and "presume" that you did!!!!!!

Granted @Lance19.

How bout this: Win a Superbowl already. I appreciate Charger fans, I really do!!!!

However, this team with all it’s talent, all it’s “division” titles in the past 5 years, it’s 13 out of 15 wins against the Raiders, fails to pay dividends. When Marty Schottenheimer coached the Chiefs, they beat the Raiders 18 out of 22 and what came of that??? The fact they won 18 out of 22, that’s it!!!! Not even a Superbowl appearance. Sorry Nephew, in the NFL you are judged only by Lombardi Trophy’s and until the Chargers do that, it’s all conversation!!!!!

I remember a Chargers team with Dan Fouts, Chuck Muncie, James Brooks, Wes Chandler, Charlie Joiner, Kellen Winslow, John
--------------------------------------------------

typical dolt fan trying to compensate some ground one way or another....lol. Raiders lead overall series 55–44–2. Y'all still couldnt catch up beating us 7 some years in a row, thats some funny schit.....try to counter that fact.

And Dmac is going to run it straight at the Texans and they won’t be able to stop it… unlike an injured Mendenhall with the pitiful Pittsburgh 3rd string line

Lets see here...
Raiders
Give up 28 pts per game avg (Tied for 30th)
6 yd per carry against them (29th)
12.2 per pass against them (25th)
409.8 total defense (29th)

Texans
Give up 17 pts per game (4th)
4.9 yds per carr against them (18th)
7.9 per pass against them (10th)
323 total defense (10th)

Nope I dont see that happening at all. DMAC is outstanding, but he can't make up for the giant hole that is your defense. (Stevie Johnson alone in the endzone anyone?)

Maybe I just don't get it but I can't see how this is such a "bold" prediction. They swept the division last year and because of inconsistency (reference the Arizona, 49'er and Jacksonville games, which would have made them 11-5, all things being equal of course), gave the division back. A good coach builds on things like that and lets his team know it's time to take the next step. Sounds like a natural progression to me. What is he supposed to say?? We'll "try"?? or "I hope we can?". I would feel real uncomfortable with that attitude.

This man is not new to the NFL and yes it's his first head coaching gig, but he's been at this a good many winters. He knows what it takes and how to get there. The Raiders have played far too long with "no" expectations except finding ways to lose games.

San Diego has been picked to win this division at least the last 5 years running and are always considered a favorite to get to the bowl. Still...."no cigar"! And football is different from other sports. You can't win your division year in and out and not make something of the opportunity because the game and teams catch up to you. Example: As good as the Patriots are, they haven't won a playoff game since 07'. Sidebar - San Diego is the only team in the division that "hasn't" won a Super Bowl.

Hue is taking the right approach for the group of men he's coaching. He has expectations and he's determined to have them met.

If you can't appreciate that....then I just don't know.

If the Raiders are going to win the division, they are going to have start scoring more points than their defense gives up.

Humb0lt went on to say that if the Raiders do win the division, they will need to win all of their playoff games in order to win the NFL championship, and the only way they can achieve that goal is to outscore their opponents. At least he thinks that is how it works, but being a Charger fan, he's relying on second-hand information.

The Chargers have been a slow starting team for years, now they are winning the games they would have lost last year, Oakland has a lot of speed, a lot of size, but they don’t have number 17. Should be a tight race, but I think scar face is getting ahead of himself.

Scar face? Really? I won't lump all Charger fans together, but some of you clowns really lack imagination.

If the Raiders are going to win the division, they are going to have start scoring more points than their defense gives up.

The Bolts are winning 13 or 14. The Raiders lose too many games like they have the last two to even be looking past the Wild Card.

Good thing for them they have one in the bag against a likely wild-card team. But slow it down Hue. You got BLATANTLY outcoached by Bill on Sunday. Figure out how to stop blowing big leads and not getting suckered into playing one-dimensional football (aka the Patriot Way) instead of forcing them to do ADAPT TO YOUR WELL-ROUNDED FOOTBALL TEAM.

Alright all these raider fans that got stirred up over this post please calm down! First of all, Jason Campbell is STILL your QB! He’s not doing good right now he’s just not as bad as he has been in past years. You want to say you almost had the Pats? So did the Chargers! About last years games, the Chargers special teams gave you that game. The second one yes the raiders whooped us fair and square. Also, Ryan Mathews is turning into what he is supposed to be so now you don’t just have to worry about Rivers to Jackson you have to worry about Mathews. But in the end you have to play the game and we will see who ends up laughing at who at the end of the season. Go Chargers!!!

----------------------------------------

At this point in the season, Campbell is outplaying Rivers.. and you can have Matthews.. the Raiders will ram Dmac down your throat all day... I bet Weddell's head is still ringing from when Dmac trucked him on his way to the end zone last year.. and your special teams didn't give the Raiders the first game, the Raiders special teams took the game from you guys... I just don't see why they average Bolt fan can't see what we've seen for years.. that Norv is a good co-ordinator, and a lousy head coach. He's taken the most talented roster and made it worse every year... and now without Rivers having Sproles and Gates as his safety valves, his true colors are starting to show.... The Chargers will still make some plays, but if my team was 3 and 1 having beaten teams who's combined records are 1-11 with the one win coming because 2 of said teams played each other, I wouldn't be bragging. Not to mention SD has been squeaking out wins, against those said bad teams, in their own ball park. Raiders may have lost a game they shouldn't have (Buffalo, albeit on shortened rest) and lost one they should have.. but for the most part, they've at least looked like they can beat anybody on any given Sunday... And San Diego still hasn't hit a tough spot in their schedule. tsk tsk.....
