Actually, its not that the pats don’t want to risk giving the other team bulletin board material, its just that they prefer to take the high road. They prefer to act with class and be good sportsmen. This is the standard that Belichick sets, and if any of his players don’t maintain this standard of sportsmenship, they get punished.

“There’s no right or wrong answer?” ahhh yeah, actually there is. Running your mouth the way rex ryan does is classless and disrespectful. By flapping his gums and talking about Bill Belichick the way he does, Rex Ryan is showing us that he is has zero class and absolutely no respect for his peers.

To accept the way Rex constantly yaps and to say that it is “just his style,” is tantamount to accepting a decline in the standards of human decency.

Buddy Ryan did a horrible job raising his son. Rex is setting a horrible example for today’s youth. But blogs like this one, and other media outlets condone his actions because it is good for business.

just tellin it like it is guys

you're an obvious believer in the concept that some people should get to decide how other people act. your argument regarding 'accepting a decline in human decency' is vacuous. and you're a bonehead.

the Patriots can't get out of their own way. Defense is HORRIBLE. last time I checked BB used to be a decent defensive coach...

best moment this year so far was game vs. the Buffalo Bills, watching that game ending FG sail thru the uprights brought a smile across my face.

Just a gut check -- hey Patsy fans, you lost to the BILLS. and you lost to the JETS in the playoffs 9 months ago.

The phrase "going nowhere fast" applies to BB, Brady, and all of the Patriots in 2011.

Too overrated teams playing each other.

The end result is predictable:
One team will win, but it will settle nothing.
The Jets will complain about a call to favor Tom Brady, and they will be right.
Tom Brady will complain about calls not made in his favor, and the wuss will be wrong.
Tom Brady will deliver post game trash talk, we are the Patriots we are better than trash talking, we let the other teams talk, blah blah blah.
------------------------------------
This sounds like a concession????? Isnt the game on this weekend?

Not really, 5 years ago was 2006…Patriots made the AFC Championship game in 2006. The next year they made the superbowl.

But they are 0 for their last 3.

You talk more trash than Rex and every single jets player comibned since Rex has been coach. You think your team is so great even though its been what 4 years since you won a playoff game. The Jets have beat you guys 2 out of the last 3 times they have played and you still talk all of this crap. What will you say Sunday when they make it 3 out of 4?

You ain’t going to hear nothing from us, that’s for damn sure,” an unnamed player recently told Bart Hubbuch of the New York Post. “Boss’ orders.”

Yeah, that doesn't sound like a made up quote or anything... Does anyone doubt that the Post would invent a quote and then F.lo.rio would run with it?

"take no chances" is an inaccurate characterization.
Has nothing to do with taking (or not taking) chances, IMO.

The Jets run their mouths. The Jets Coach runs his mouth.
180-degrees the opposite in New England.

.

Players talk at their own risk. However, they should remember that the NFL has ways to humble you. Haven't we all seen the league get the better of it's greatest players? I've seen Brady, Manning, Montana and Marino all walk off with their heads down.

The last result of note for the jets will have been the playoff win against the Pats. It's been all downhill from there. Check back in 5 years and see if things have improved.

Rex gets fired next season. Amazingly he is hired as DC by Belichick. BB forces Rex to wear a ball gag for which only he has the key. Mrs. Rex finds this an incredible turn-on and their marriage is revitalized despite the history of defeet that has haunted her man. And they all live happily ever after, except the jets who continued to suck for eternity.

I'm with you, ampats.

Sanchez isn't going to be the focus of the offense this week because Rex knows what the kind of beating he'd get would likely do to him, I think.

Let 'em ground and pound. LdT and Greene are definitely not as good as McFadden and Bush, and the Pats didn't let them get out of control.
