EAGLES had that game in the bag...BUT..

#1 They don't know how to manage the clock.

#2 They don't know what a RB is for... instead they think he's a 4th wide receiver.

#3 They don't know how to tackle in open space.

#4 They BLITZ too much which is obvious to opposing offensive schemes to counteract.

#5 They PASS way too much which wears down their own offensive line because it is better to HIT than be HIT.

#6 They don't know that POINTZzzz win games not YARDzzzz!!!

As a 49erz FAN...your GUYZ were as FRANK said "GUTLESS!!!" because your EGO's are bigger than your results.

I am paying attention but how is acting like it??? By answering a question?
No where in his response does he even make an inkling as to what his perception on this years squad is. All he said was 49ers played for 60 minutes, Eagles didn’t. How is that acting like they are the next coming of the Montana years.

Please educate me since your so smart….

I like how Gore is acting like they’re the second coming of the Montana era 49ers, when they needed 2 missed chip shots and a fumble at their 30 with 2 minutes left to have any chance to win the game. Congrats, Gore…let’s see where you’re at in December.

__________

Please point out where in this article Gore says anything about being the second coming of the Montana-esque Niners….Gore was asked a question, and he answered simple as that. Also, No one is saying the Eagles didn’t blow the game…they did, why? because they were up by 20 at half and thought they could coast through the rest of the game, like Gore is saying.
Its obvious that you are butt-hurt about the loss and I can’t blame you…but you also gotta understand that this 49ers D is pretty good. Bowman and Willis are the best MLB tandem in the game right now this year. Something Andy Reid should maybe invest in one day if he really wants to win a SB.

he said acting like he didn't quote him please pay attention

Vick played extremely well last Sunday...

Better than he played in any game last season, save for the Washington debacle...

Vick has had one bad game this season in my opinion...that was the game they lost.

Not a big fan of Vick...personal life aside...his game, while at times amazing, doesn't look to be consistant enough to beat good teams...in the play-offs. Where I still see my Iggles being.

That being said...can't blame him for any of the 3 losses...ball security has been the only thing holding the Eagles back.

LB play has been bad...if we don't fumble...it wouldn't have mattered.

OL has been MUCH better recently...was good against SF...if we don't fumble...it don't matter.

Yes, I say we...sorry.

This team has been humbled to the extreme...Buffalo has a freight train coming.

It starts Sunday in Buffalo.

Go Eagles.

GOLDRUSH, Apparently you are a fairweather fan and probably didnt even watch the game. You found out the 9ers won and now you want to run your mouth. If you HAD watched the game, you would have realized that Vick had a career high in passing yards and had 491 total yards and 2 TDs. That doesnt sound like a “lazy” performance.
______________________________________________

Did Philadelphia win? I must've missed that part... and that kind of yardage is hardly an accomplishment against the secondaries we've had over the past 10 years. How many yards did McCoy have by the way? It was a one dimensional game period. Oh and how exactly does that constitute as a fair weather fan anyway? Please ask Mr Santa Clause for a dictionary pinhead. Lazy was his approach to the 2nd half, the press conference, everything that has happened since. Jay Cutler puts up some monster games occasionally. His heart and passion for the game are still questioned DAILY! Romo, same difference.... Oh and quit polluting this state with your stupidity. There is already enough whacko's in form of our politicians

GOLDRUSH, Apparently you are a fairweather fan and probably didnt even watch the game. You found out the 9ers won and now you want to run your mouth. If you HAD watched the game, you would have realized that Vick had a career high in passing yards and had 491 total yards and 2 TDs. That doesnt sound like a "lazy" performance.

How can this be true? I am a Redskins fan and I always thought that the one sure thing in football is that a game with Philly is always a knock-down, drag-out, punch-em-in-the-mouth, hard violent fist fight.

Ever since the infamous "body bag" game, it has been like that. And now I read that Philly quit? Someone on this message board went so far as to call the Eagles "Soft?" What the heck is going on?

I think I just saw a pig fly by my window and a New York Times editorial praising the Tea Party.

When a losing franchise like the 49ers start off so well, you're going to hear stupid comments like Gore made. Problem is, they don't look down the road and consider that when the close the season at 6-10 or 7-9 and the Eagles have surged to at least compete for a playoff spot, nobody is going to remember the one comeback you put together. Nevermind that you beat the Seahawks and the Bengals, barely, in your other two wins.

Good news for SF is that 6-10 or 7-9 might win that division.

But keep it 'Niner, Frank.

Yea I agree that the Eagles are underperforming, but they're not soft. They play hard as hell for 3 quarters and then get too comfortable and think that the other team cant come back on them. If they were soft, then they'd be getting pounded for 4 quarters. And thats a fact. They just need to get passed the mindset that they're unbeatable. I think 3 straight losses has humbled them. We'll see on sunday. How many years have Andy Reids' teams started out slow. 0-2, 2-3, 5-5-1. All playoff years. I honestly have no doubt that the Eagles will still make the playoffs. We'll see who's in the playoff chase in Nov. and Dec. Frank Gore can enjoy his 1 good game he's had this season. I wonder if Gore believes that the 49er defense gave up and didnt want anymore of the cowboys when the cowboys rallied back and beat the 49ers??
