The first Lions appearance on Monday Night Football in a decade could also be the first NFL game for Detroit rookie defensive tackle Nick Fairley, the 13th overall pick in the 2011 draft.
Fairley, who injured a foot early in training camp, fully participated in practice on Saturday. He is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Bears.
Also questionable are cornerback Aaron Berry (groin), defensive end Lawrence Jackson (hamstring), and safety Amari Spievey (hamstring). Probable for the Lions are receiver Calvin Johnson (ankle), safety Louis Delmas (abdomen), linebacker Justin Durant (concussion), linebacker DeAndre Levy (knee), receiver Maurice Stovall (hand), and cornerback Eric Wright (groin).
Out for the Lions are safety Erik Coleman (ankle), receiver Rashied Davis (foot), and tackle Jason Fox (foot).
The Bears will be without the services of receiver Earl Bennett (chest) and tackle Gabe Carimi (knee). Probable for Chicago are safety Chris Harris (hamstring), tight end Matt Spaeth (calf), center/guard Chris Spencer (hand), cornerback Charles Tillman (hip), and defensive end Corey Wootton (hand).
