Getty ImagesThe beleaguered Cardinals secondary actually had a pretty good Sunday in Week Five. That tends to happen when you play the Vikings.
It will be tougher for the Cardinals to limit opposing quarterbacks in the future because starting free safety Kerry Rhodes broke his foot and will miss a “number of weeks” according to coach Ken Whisenhunt.
The Cardinals get a bye week, then face the Steelers and Ravens. Barring a major upset, they could be digging out of a 1-6 hole.
In the 2010 NFC West, 1-6 would have you in the thick of a division race. That’s not the case anymore.
