Well, he was on a team that won three Super Bowls, so, you’re right – no chance he can work with the Eagles. They have never known that level of success and probably never will. Besides, he would never get to work on time. All of Philly would be asking to see his Super Bowl rings since no one in that town has actually seen one before.

Need I remind people Mangini drafted a project player in the second round of the 1999 on a very depleted Browns team. The player was a undersized defense end from Hawaii. He was waived before his second year with zero starts.

And let us not forget Mangini was benched by Belichick for lame defense calls/game plans during a Super Bowl run season. Or simple put, Belichick had to take over the defense when Mangini was the defensive coordinator. No where does anyone point this important fact. Mangini has become a 2x ex head coach and millionaire riding off of coattails.

The Belichick tree is..well Bill Belicheck. Plain and simple. How is his defense playing this year? Check out the 2010 stats as well. Funny how he has not won a Super Bowl since being caught for cheating.

Wow – they really are acting like the Old Redskins – hire a coordinator before head coach, limit your options so hire coordinator to be head coach, bring in consultant, fire head coach. The Eagles hired their D Line coach before the coordinator, no one wanted the job, gave it to an offensive line coach, hire a consultant….

Bring in the best that money can buy, team implodes.

Meanwhile, Washington has learned their lessons and are building something special through the draft, smart low key free agents and heart. I love it.

Impartial Giant fan here. Is the guy in the glass house throwing stones right now? What about the ‘Old Redskins’? Rex Grossman is your QB playing an easy schedule. Relax, hoss.

Philly is a mess and if he can’t work a miracle, he’ll share blame for something that already existed. Very little upside for him.

Reid will probably be done too, so there may not even be the ability to come back next year as D-Coordinator.

I’d stay put if I were him.

If we were talking Gruden , Fisher, Cowher, or maybe Cecil I would buy it.

1 thing stands out in this report Mangini was the Eagles first choice………………now anyone with a brain knows thats a lie………..sounds like a Mangini PR rep went to town lol.
