It seems that the Eagles got themselves into this – only some solid play execution, defense and sticking to fundamentals (which should result in wins) will get them out of the “doghouse.” No pun intended.

If they can’t beat the Redskins on Sunday I see no hope for this team, which is sad because they do have the necessary talent. Perhaps take a cue from Rex Ryan and shut up and play instead of self-glorification followed by defeat and disappointment.

Man, I could go for a decent cheesesteak right about now…….
