ReutersKerry Collins is not returning to the Colts starting lineup any time soon, regardless of his health.
Colts coach Jim Caldwell seemed to make that clear Thursday when asked about Collins, according to Philip B. Wilson of the Indianapolis Star. Curtis Painter is The Guy in Indianapolis indefinitely.
Painter, who has looked increasingly competent behind center, will likely be handing off to a different starting running back this week. Joseph Addai is considered unlikely to play because of his hamstring injury. Delone Carter and Donald Brown will split the workload, with Brown taking more passing downs.
Addai admitted Thursday he was a long shot to play. The team added Darren Evans to the active roster, which is a clear sign the team doesn’t expect Addai to be ready.

LOL..Pic looks like he is crying! hahaha
If this team wins a game it will be a miracle. Luck needs to get himself a insurance policy cause he will prob be dead if he has to play behind that line.
There is no “Luck” in winning. The breathtaking come-from-ahead 4th period collapse last week put fear into the hearts of true Colts’ fans everywhere. Keep the streak alive.
Painter and Addai both suck. I would trade them both for a McFlurry
I wonder if Caldwell was reading straight from a Polian email?
And the point of this story is what since they’ll be dominated by Cincy this weekend?
Who Dey!! I feel your suffering Indy fans, but I like the Bengals chances again this week. I hope Manning is able to play again, just not against my Bengals. I would miss his commercials as well.
