The Oakland Raiders sold out their first two home games of the 2011 regular season. Not surprisingly, the first home game since the passing of long-time owner Al Davis also has been sold out.

Steve Corkran of BayAreaNewsGroup.com reports that enough tickets were sold before the Thursday deadline to lift the local blackout for Sunday’s game against the Browns. It’s the first time the team has sold out three straight games since 2008.

Per Corkran, CEO Amy Trask urges fans to show up early so that they can enjoy the planned tributes for Mr. Davis, who died on October 8.
