It’s because the Raiders are in Oakland sometimes the games don’t get sold out.. People of Oakland are not rich old ladies like Pats fans but the difference is Pats fans dont have a Nation… When it’s a game of this magnitude the Nation will show up..People from UK to USA We will be there..

That was last weeks game that was blacked out against the Fins. Charger fans are basically disgruntled ex-Raiders fans that are still pissed they left LA to go back to Oakland. While there’s optimism in Oakland, there’s absolutely no loyalty in San Diego. They’re winning, and they’re still not selling out.

What you failed to realize is that after the 2002 season, the team’s play has been laughable and lackluster to down right embarrassing at times.

It wasn’t a coincidence that fan attendance improved once the team showed that they can put a quality product on the field and actually be…you know…good. You cannot blame ANY fanbase for not wanting to shellout $$$ for a crappy product year in and year out.

Fans in Oakland were simply tired of paying for a product that at one time was called, “The dumbest football team in America” (coined by then head coach Bill Callahan)
