The local media has put out multiple stories about Haley, Pioli and the chiefs the last two years that turned out to be false.

They don’t like either one of them and their egos have been bruised. it’s their only way to try and get back at them.

Nick and others in the local media have a vendetta and they purposely put out disinformation to try and discredit the organization.

It’s just a matter of time until the golf pro is looking for work. He never was the long-term answer. He’s a stop-gap and a lightening rod there to take attention away from a rebuilding effort. Pioli is in his third year. After this season, he’s no longer dealing with the leftovers of a previous regime, it’s all him. Haley is the perfect buffer to get him through his third season. The fact that the team had some success last season, in spite of the golf pro, was just gravy for Pioli. It bought him more time to put together the roster he wants.

It’s just a matter of time until Pioli shoves him under the bus. And so what? That’s why he hired him in the first place.
