Daniel Thomas, Nick Mangold questionable for Monday night game

The Dolphins and Jets play on Monday Night Football, so their final Week Six injury reports weren’t due until Saturday. Both teams have practiced, and the reports have been released.

For the Dolphins, running back Daniel Thomas is listed as questionable after practicing on a limited basis Saturday. Thomas was also limited on Thursday and Friday, and it appears he’ll be a game-time decision against the Jets.

The Dolphins also listed cornerback Nolan Carroll (hamstring), safety Chris Clemons (hamstring), and tight end Will Yeatman (shoulder) as questionable. Cornerback Vontae Davis (hamstring), defensive lineman Tony McDaniel (hand), and linebacker Koa Misi (neck) are all probable.

The Jets have 13 players on their injury report. Most notably, center Nick Mangold (ankle) is listed as questionable after a second straight “limited” practice. Despite the 50-50 designation, Mangold is expected to start against Miami.

Probable for the Jets: Cornerback Marquice Cole (hamstring), defensive end Marcus Dixon (shoulder), linebacker Garrett McIntyre (concussion), long snapper Tanner Purdum (back), running back LaDainian Tomlinson (calf), defensive tackle Martin Tevaseu (back), and defensive end Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder).

The Jets have ruled out wide receiver Logan Payne (wrist), defensive end Ropati Pitoitua (knee), cornerback Donald Strickland (concussion), and cornerback Isaiah Trufant (hamstring).

So when is Mangold due? He looks like he’s well into his 8th month, almost at 9.

Looks like Nick found Rex’s doughnut stash.

Does it matter? With Sanchez as QB they’re going nowhere, regardless.

I am a Patriots fan, and we would kill for a Center as talented as Mangold.

Dan Koppen is on IR and in the last year of his second contract. He was never elite.

The last two playoff losses to Ravens/Jets have been poor games for Brady who was dealing with pressure up the middle and a collapsing pocket.

On a side note, what a stinkfest for a Monday night game. Do the Dolphins have a pulse? Will they fire Sparano from a cannon at halftime just to provide a little entertainment?

Why did they schedule such lousy Monday night games? There have been like 2 good ones, and that’s counting that sloppy ass Lions game.

Uh oh. A Jet will miss a game – we will have to hear about it constantly during the game. Even last week when mangold played, it was talked about constantly.

Are the Jets ready to go “Suck for Luck”?

Mangold looks like he’s a biscuit away from playing center and guard. Maybe his ankles can’t take all the weight

The guy is a monster of a player at center and even this Charger fan has respect for his skill, but in this photo he looks a lot like Mikey in American Chopper.
