Falcons players want to use no huddle more

The Falcons offense has struggled thus far this season. The running game is ordinary, and the pricy offensive line has been a disappointment.

The team can’t get into an offensive flow, and John Czarnecki of FoxSports.com writes that some offensive players have been “whispering” that offensive coordinator Mike Mularkey should use no huddle offense more.

It makes some sense to us. The Falcons probably are trying to avoid putting their defense on the field too quickly, but they are doing that anyway with so many three and outs.

This should be a week for Atlanta’s offense to get untracked, even without rookie Julio Jones. The Panthers are 26th in points allowed.
