Julius Peppers expected to play despite doubtful tag

Well, our friend John Mullin of CSNChicago.com called this one.

Julius Peppers is expected to be active Sunday night per multiple reports for the Bears despite his doubtful tag.

Mullin clued us in during the week that Peppers’ tag might be payback for last season, when the Vikings said Brett Favre was “out” until he wasn’t out against the Bears.

Peppers’ presence should give Chicago’s undermanned defensive line a better shot against Minnesota Sunday night.

How did the Bears fare in that game? They won. So why would it matter? It doesn’t. The Bears have enough problems with their reputation dealing with other teams. They don’t need this.

Post game- It was like a trainwreck. I could not stop watching. One of the worst displays of Viking football that I have witnessed in my 30 plus years of follwing this team.
