Report: Redskins lose offensive lineman for season

The Redskins have been one of the healthiest teams in the league so far, but their run of luck caught up to them on Sunday.

John Keim of the Washington Examiner reports that guard Kory Lichtensteiger tore his ACL and MCL against the Eagles. The starter will miss the rest of the season.

Washington’s line has done a nice job overall this year, although they are struggling against Philadelphia.

Struggling against the Trent Cole-less Eagles. That helps put into perspective how awful they are playing.

Struggling is losing your left guard and tackle for the game killing your run game. They tightened up on D and protected the QB well but Rex imploded.

Shanny went with the “hot hand.” And by hot hand, he means whoever he’s decided to use (Torain) irrespective of how ineffective he is.
