To be honest that was just a huge win for the pats. brady has not done that since the opener in 2009 and then he was aided by a really bad bills special teams fumble.

you cant blame garret because the defense stopped the pats almost all game and he is trusting his d by running the ball there. im a pats fan and i have been frustrated that brady tends to rush and lose when they reallly need it. but this is a new brady. he is still getting pressured but he is finding ways to win these games.

Not sure why everyone is all over Garretts play calling. They had like a 3rd and 18. If he passes their is a good chance its incomplete and they leave New England with 2 timeouts. The run on 3rd down was to have NE use one if its last 2 time outs and hope the Rob Ryan’s defense that was getting it done all day could stand one more time, or at least keep them out of the zone for over time.

That being said……he probably should have browsed over Tom Terrific’s resume and re-thought that strategy. But it wasn’t like it was a crazy play call. The game wasn’t over even if they got a first down. Pats still had 2 TO’s and the 2 minute.

BTW, Brady has 6 picks this year so far. Eli Manning has 5. Just saying.
