APMike Sims-Walker is making his triumphant return to Jacksonville.
Okay, so it’s not triumphant. Sims-Walker was dumped by the Rams at midseason, and the Jaguars only want him back out of desperation. (Remember that they had no interest in re-signing him in free agency when the lockout ended.)
Tania Ganguli of the Florida Times-Union broke the news and writes Sims-Walker will sign by the end of the day.
The move provides Sims-Walker a chance to get his career back on track. Jacksonville desperately needs a deep receiver and Sims-Walker is a more explosive player than Jason Hill. Sims-Walker knows the offense, so it shouldn’t take long to get him up to speed.
Blaine Gabbert needs help; this reunion that makes sense for the 1-5 Jaguars.

“Blaine Gabbert needs help, so this is a reunion that makes sense for the 1-5 Jaguars”
Only people MSW is going to help is opposing defenses with his lazy play and atrocious route running.
First thing he should do is ask for a contract extension. At big bucks.
MSW is more of burner than Hill? You might want to stick to LA talk when its regarding the Jags. You’re a bit clueless…
He is a solid player and still better than what is on our team now. MSW is and was a very good citizen in Jacksonville. He involves the community and other players in activities and promotes himself and the team well. I am glad he has made a return to JVille
talk about a FAIL in StL. i thought he was gonna ball over there w/ Sammy pitching it to him
I don’t get to watch much as far as Jax. games go, so I can’t say much about MSWs gameor lack there of, but yesterday I remember reading some of the comments, after he was released when the Rams acquired Lloyd.
Jags fans blasted him pretty good, and I just find all this ironic, but hey I love a good laugh as much as the next person.
With him and a new punter, that’s Su

If he wants to be unemployed again, that’s absolutely what he should do.
You made me laugh thingamajig. That’d go over real well. Go Jags!
Jags GM Gene Smith said in training camp he was very happy with this year’s receiving corps. Either he lied or can’t evaluate talent….or maybe both. Of course this coming after he cut his 60 yr old punter whom he gave $800K in guaranteed money. Gene, you’re such a genius.
its says two things
1 they need a receiver than can start sunday and already knows the offense
and b
Cecil Shorts is not working out as fast as hoped
Who is Sims-Walker?
maybe MSW can help.still Rams got the cookie and Jags got the crumbs.

More like the Rams paid for the cookie and decided they didn’t like it, so the Jags get the remaining 62.5%.
Did the NFL outlaw stickum…..? Just asking…!
Mike Sims Walker? How many guys is that? Is that 3 players?
Jags are gonna need more then “The law firm squared” to beat the ravens this weekend. Wouldnt be surprised if the stands are full of purple in Jacksonville on monday night lol. Its like a free home game. Ask Carolina last year lol
according to my calculations, this makes it the 2nd WR to play for 2 different teams against the Baltimore Ravens.
Mason- Jets/Texans.
MSW- Rams/Jags
Uh oh Ravens secondary watch out for this guy!!
Gene smith sucks I can evaluate talent better than him ,msw was our #1 receiver and let him go he aint even caught #3 on anyother nfl team . then takes him back because cecil shorts hasn’t even caught a pass this year. PLEASE MR. WEAVER CLEAN HOUSE
The move doesnt have any downside which I think is the biggest factor in the decision. MSW is one of those up and down players. The Jags WR core needs help, their is no doubt about it and hopefully MSW will show some good hands when he puts on that Jags uniform.
The biggest positive is that he is familiar with the playbook and has a better QB throwing to him – timing will be an issue as their work together time will be limited between nowand gameday.
Cmon MSW, we Jag fans are pulling for you!!
I dunno about better QB, Sam Bradford and Blaine Gabbert are kind of the same guy. Look at their stats. Both play with about the same talent too (good RB, horrible WRs, middle of the road defense.) Although Jax’s defense is decent this year, better than the Rams I guess which is kind of shocking given that joke of a defense Jax had the past 2 years.
Great, now the Jaguars have three #3 receivers in Thomas, Hill, and MSW. Still looking for a #1 (or 2).
