Raiders won’t reveal starter for Sunday

C. Palmer Raiders

Logic would dictate that Kyle Boller starts Sunday against the Chiefs for Oakland, not Carson Palmer.

Boller has been in the offense since last year, and the Raiders could start the Palmer era after Oakland’s Week Eight bye. Then again, logic said Palmer would still be a Cincinnati Bengal after the trading deadline.

“You think I’m going to tell you that right now?” coach Hue Jackson when asked about his starter against the Chiefs. “You know me a little bit better than that. You do try, all you guys try. Nice try.

“I’m not going to let that out of the bag just yet. But you gotta be ready for anything from me, I think you know that.”

It’s a huge game for the Chiefs. They can get right back in the AFC West race with a win in Oakland despite their unsightly start to the season.
