The Steelers are struggling to explain their sluggish offensive production.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Are you new here? That is what Roethlisberger does. For all the talk of him "extending" the plays it doesn't show up on the scoreboard. He is LUCKY if he can ring up 30 points in more than one game per year. The Patriots just had a streak of 13 straight games scoring 30 or more points.
He usually doesn't even crack the 20 point barrier and that is just sad. Against good teams you can count on him scoring a total of three points in the first three quarters. Sometimes he can score some garbage time points after the game is well out of hand but sometimes not. Just watch how he does against the Patriots and Ravens in two/three weeks.
When the Steeler defense can hold the other team to 10 points or get a defensive score Roethlisberger can squeak out a 13-10 win.
When the Steeler defense gives up 20 points and does not get a defensive score Roethlisberger cannot come close to getting a win. That is how elite he is.
