Totally agree. Marshall looked like he was intentionally point shaving. One dropped pass. One veer right to cause an easy interception for Revis, one knock down he should have boxed out and the worst one… intentionally running out of bounds on a sure TD. I watched the replay of that over and over. It had to be on purpose.

Ok, no matter the record, if the Steelers make the playoffs, they have a good chance of winning it all. If you don’t remember, the Steelers were the first #6 seed to ever win the Super Bowl and that was Super Bowl 40. Granted that team was 11-5. Plus, what logic tells you that the Steelers will lose to Cincy twice? The Steelers have had a track record of beating the Bengals, even the good Bengals teams. Also, they get Baltimore at home and New England at home. I think they at least win one out of the two games. Once again, you’d probably be better off not responding to this guy and putting your biases aside.

He will try and claim otherwise, citing several factoids recently mined from Wikipedia, but in the end, he is exposed as the homer idiot that he and his fellow (supposedly diehard) Pats fans are. Your Ravens are deservedly ranked ahead of the overhyped Pats. Dallas showed how to slow down their offense for the most part, only to fail due to the ineptitude of their offense to run out the clock. Your Ravens are far superior to Dallas on defense and won’t make the same mistake on offense when both teams meet this season.

I’m not arguing that the Ravens aren’t better than the Pats, or the Pats are better than the Ravens. Frankly, the Ravens scare the crap out of Patriot fans. Those games can (and do!) go either way.

But simple logic tells you that if two teams are 4-1, and one wins a 5th game while the other sits out a week, then the 5-1 team gets ranked higher that week, if only for winning that one more game.

Um…the 3-3 Bears & 3-3 Falcons were both within 11 of the Packers and the 1-5 Panthers were only 7 away. Heck, the lowly 0-5 Rams almost were within your 20 point threshhold. I’m just saying…

Second half, they go @ SD, have a bye vs Minnesota, vs Tampa, @ Detroit, @ Giants, vs OAK, bye vs KC, chicago and Detroit again. There’s at least 3 losses in there, maybe more. Overrating the Packers has got to stop.

So you’re holding the fact that the Ravens had their bye week against them? Ravens have the #1 overall defense in the league and given up nearly half the amount of points the Patriots have. They also have a larger point differential (+50 to +77) to the Patriots. Ravens definitely deserve to be ranked above the Pats.
