Darren McFadden hurts foot

AP

A fun week for the Oakland Raiders has turned into a nightmare on Sunday.

Kyle Boller has thrown three interceptions and the Chiefs lead 14-0 at halftime. More importantly, Darren McFadden is battling an ankle/foot injury.

McFadden went to the locker room in the first quarter because of the injury. He’s questionable to return, but his ankle was heavily wrapped when he returned to the sideline.

The Raiders also watched linebacker Rolando McClain go the locker room before halftime early with an apparent injury.

UPDATE: McFadden wasn’t on the field to start the second half. Boller also remained in the game.  Reports say McFadden has a sprained foot.

UPDATE II: One more drive will do it for Boller. Palmer is warming up and readying to go into the game.

  1. Think Boller up this type of (weak) performance purposely to say “Thank you Hue Jackson for having my back”?

  2. Raider fan might finally go away again after this ass-whippin by K.C. Palmer is not going to help this year!!!!!!!!!!

  3. The clock must have struck 12, because the Raiders are turning back into the Raiders … minus all their high draft picks.

  4. , raiders are bad srsly bad this is more than 1 loss this is the future of the franchise, a 1st and 2nd pick and stuck with palmer the other mcnabb for foreseeable future? raidernation had some promise then hue struck!

  5. Wow, players are falling left and right all over the league. Think the lockout had anything to do w/ it?

Most of us would probably like to go away right now, but we won’t. That game was a disaster, though. Holy crap. Boller will probably get most of the blame, and Palmer will probably get most of the excuses, but I’d put this one right on Jackson, where it belongs. KC was ready to play, and Oakland certainly was not.

  7. i still bet profootballtalk ranks every 3 win team and some 2 win teams ahead of the chiefs. if they put the browns, cowboys, titans, redskins or panthers ahead of the chiefs the rankings can no longer be considered worth anything ever again

  8. Hey Raiders, you built in excuse of “McFadden was hurt” won’t work. The Chiefs have been without Charles for 5 weeks and they just handed it to your sorry asses.

28-0 and that’s because Haley was being nice. Tell your whine-bag of a coach if he wants to play the tough man role he might want to consider NOT actling like a b!tch after the game. I love that Haley just kept walking, treating Jackson like the DA he is. Hey Jackson, I think it’s safe to say you have a 2013 1st round draft pick you can trade, how about a replacement for yourself?

  9. Little hiccup… find it funny to see a Jets fan in here talking trash. You finally beat somebody! Yay!

We’ll get it worked out this week and be back to whoop up the rest of the AFC west. The only question will be which of the out of Division teams we can beat. Chefs should be thanking their lucky stars for today – no starting QB with a snap worth a damn for us on the field, no DMC, and your offense still sucked it up. Yeah… very convincing.

    We’ll be fine.

That’s about as likely an outcome as your horrible overrated team actually “holding up the sb trophy” this year or any year soon. Meanwhile, your bandwagon should be just about empty… come on over to the Dark Side and see what actual fans are like.

Tape doesn’t lie. Either way, it won’t help his next job interview.
