Titans say Hasselbeck injury isn’t a concern

On the final snap he took on Sunday in a blowout loss to the Texans, Titans quarterback Matthew Hasselbeck banged his hand on the follow through against the arm/wrist/hand of a defender.  Hasselbeck thereafter left the game, and he was replaced by rookie Jake Locker.

Even though cameras thereafter spotted Hasselbeck with his thumb in a cup of ice, the Titans tell PFT via email that Locker entered the game because of the score, and that Hasselbeck’s injury isn’t a concern.

So even thought he appeared to be injured, it apparently wouldn’t have been enough to keep him from playing.  According to the team.  Apparently.

Matt Hasselbeck NEEDS to start getting the ball into WR Nate Washington’s hands!

Hurt Locker needs to split time with Matty Ice.

And CJ2k needs to draw a paycheck.

    Well, whatever. Ponder’s been impressive.

    Tebow is fun to watch.

GB scores 17 points in under 5 minutes, Rodgers has a PR of 158+ and has hit possibly 10 receivers.

It’s nice that Hasselbeck’s having a nice season.

    But so what?

Pay Matt Forte! Pay the man! The same crap you dopes in the media were saying about CJ. How’s that working out for the Titans?

Way to go CJ… Since you have taken this year off..
All Defenses know whats coming.. Pass pass pass..
Poor Matt doesnt have a chance out there…

Id rather lose with our back up RB vs starting you..

You got paid like a man.. now play like a man..

Embarrasingly bad day for Matt…Typical Hasselbeck, 2 good games, 3 bad, 2 good, 3 bad

Seattle fans should’ve recognized those rainbows disguised as interceptions, and then a hold of the hand or back soon after.

At least he doesn’t have the 5 minute timeout rule from getting scolding like he did with Holmgren.
