Only one player in NFL history has caught more passes than Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez.

With four catches in the first half today in Detroit, Gonzalez now has 1,103 catches in his NFL career. Gonzalez has moved from fourth to second place on the all-time receiving list today, passing both Cris Carter (1,101) and Marvin Harrison (1,102).

Jerry Rice is the all-time leader with 1,549 receptions, a record the 35-year-old Gonzalez would need to play several more seasons to surpass.

The Falcons lead the Lions 17-6 at halftime.
