This guy got paid big from a small sample of work. In a few 300+ yard games with a strong Eagles team he looked fantastic. He just does not look comfortable on the field at all. Even his helmet looks odd on his head, it’s hilarious. I really hope this guy comes around. Kolb is under a lot of pressure with that big contract and bigger expectations. I believe he has the tools but he needs to settle in mentally.

I’m not saying the book is written yet on Kolb (hasn’t started enough games), I just never saw what all the hype is about…Page me when he’s had 1 great season–just 1! He did absolutely NOTHING to deserve all the hype he got during the off-season

Give Kolb some time? The guy has been in the league for like 5 years. Cam Newton and Andy Dalton are ROOKIES and they are doing 20x better than Kolb. Let’s face it, Kolb is a bust.

As an Arizona fan, I didn’t expect Kolb to come in and take us to the superbowl, but it sure would have been nice to pretend a .500 season was doable.

At this rate I wish they would have started the season by saying they were going to develop Skelton, keeping DRC and investing in more runningback & o-line depth.

Our defense sucks, but mostly because they’re quitters. If they think they can end the game with a W they’re decent. Or were decent when we had Greg Toler and DRC in the secondary.

Kolb needs more time, he has shown signs that he can be good, but it is obvious that not having a full offseason hurt him. The pass blocking has been an issue too, Levi Brown is a freaking turnstile at left tackle.

At least with Newton and the other rookies, they had their playbooks right after the draft and they were able to go to player organized workouts and do stuff with QB coaches they hired to get ready for the season. Kolb didn’t get to do anything with the Cardinals until about two months after those guys were drafted.

Every Cardinal fan thinks there team is way better than it actually is. To think Kolb was going to come in and take the Cards to the top the first year is ridiculous!!

Take the 2 good seasons with Warner out and what’s left?!! They have no weapons on offense except Fitzgerald and his best years were with Boldin and Warner. Wells plays 6-8 games a season. Levi Brown was a solid pick. I’ve never heard fans expect so much after 1 super bowl trip!

Sure, Matt Cassell won 10 games that season. But he didn’t throw 50 TD passes like Brady did with the same receivers, Including Randy Moss.

i love how card fans think there team is a qb away from being a superbowl team…which in fact you are a whole defense away..your special teams is just as bad..you dont even have an o-line..and your running backs well..the reason you guys are always in shotgun and 5 wide is because all of your back are always hurt..has kolb not done so hot yeah..but when you look at what he has to work with who would..hell if you guys still had kurt warner he would have retired do to the beatings of gettin sacked 10 times a game..you guys wanna lay blame..how about your gm and coach..how many wr’s do you guys have outside of larry??..who do you have as a tightend??..rb’s??..o-line???..UR DEFENSE????..face it the cards had there time in the spotlight..they didnt take advantage of it and now they are about to return back to the bottom of the nfl for the next 20 years..

This guy holds the ball way too long. Pair that with the fact that this O line is top 5 worst in the league easily. And for an added bonus, it appears that this guy seems to panic anytime he perceives pressure coming at him, which forces him into bad throws.

He’ll benefit from a whole offseason going into next year, but I think it’s time for even the most rational of Cardinals fans to consider the possibility that Kolb is terrible…

I am not convinced that Kolb just flat out sucks, but I am convinced that the Cards thought they were getting a guy that wasn’t a long project. As it turns out, Kolb needs a year or two to grow. They don’t have the option of cutting bait given what they gave up.

Andy Reid worked it again, but I don’t think Kolb is Feely, he just isn’t a Schaub. He could be though in a few years, which might work out well for AZ if they can stay patient. With that owner, I could see him messing this all up.

Kolb is not progressing….in fact he is regressing at the QB position. Backup QB John Skelton has more wins than Kolb….and he was their 5th round pick in 2010. It’s the worst start that could be imagined in AZ.

Who made Kolb a “franchise” QB anyway? Oh, I know, it was all that propaganda coming out of Philly to hype up another below average QB to again steal from the ignorant NFL front office. As a Skins fan, I know first hand about that, and now the Cards are learning about this. Warning to all front offices in the NFL…. do not trade for players from Philly! If the Eagles want to trade away one of their players…..STAY AWAY!!!

Ken Whisenhunt said after Arizona’s latest disappointing loss that he will examine what the Cardinals are doing wrong.

Their problem is that they brought in too many ex- Steelers coaches and players to be on the team. Whis tried to duplicate the success he had on the Steelers instead of moving forward his own way–and it backfired.

I don’t think there’s any question that the Philadelphia Eagles have absolutely ROBBED two teams in the past two years in regards to trades. Give Andy Reid some credit… he sure knows how to sell a mediocre player, but he sure as hell can’t coach a bunch of talented players.

What’s more shocking is Warner TOLD the team he was retiring, and they still didn’t plan ahead…at all. It wasn’t a shock that Warner didn’t return. At least with the Colts, they were expecting Manning to play this year.

The Cardinals offensive line is attorocious. It’s hard to develop a passing rythym when you’re expecting to get hit in the back constantly.
