Chiefs bring back Becht

Veteran tight end Anthony Becht, a first-round pick in the 2000 draft by the New York Jets, gets extra consideration in these parts because he played at WVU and he host an annual youth football camp in the town where I live.  Plus, he’s nice to Florio Jr., which always scores points with Florio Sr.

Becht has rejoined the Chiefs after a couple of stints this year.  The team announced the move earlier today.

He has appeared in two games with one start for the Chiefs in 2011, and he has also played for the Buccaneers, Rams, and Cardinals.
