People complain about his Yards Per Game and Yards Per Carry.

I’ve watched enough Saints games this year to realize that he shares the load with 2 other backs, and the majority of plays that does get have a couple of things in common that can really help explain his numbers:

1) He gets carries only when it’s an obvious running situation.

2) Almost every carry he gets is in a short yardage situation so the play isn’t designed to gain more than three yards.

A good portion of his carries are short yardage obvious run situations so it’s no wonder that he has a low YPC.
