ReutersAt times this year, it appeared that tight end Antonio Gates would play sparingly, if at all, given a chronic foot problem.
The bye week has changed that.
Last week, Gates started against the Jets, catching five passes for 54 yards and a touchdown. This week, Gates is listed as probable for the Monday night showdown against the Chiefs.
As expected, linebacker Shaun Phillips (foot) is out, along with guard Kris Dielman (concussion) and defensive lineman Juan Castillo (broken leg). Running back Mike Tolbert (hamstring, hand) is listed as doubtful, which means that the player is out . . . unless his name is Julius Peppers.
Receiver Malcom Floyd (hip) and safety Darrell Stuckey (groin) are questionable. Running backs Jacob Hester (foot) and Ryan Matthews (thumb) are probable. Also probable are tackle Marcus McNeill (neck) and center-guard Scott Mruczkowski (neck) are probable.
The Chiefs, coming off a 28-0 pasting of the Raiders, are completely healthy.

chiefs competely healthy, huh? tell that to charles, moeaki and berry.
Guys, Moeaki, Charles, and Berry are on IR. Their status is not pertinent to the injury report.
The current KC squad is healthy.
It’s Luis though.
