Getty ImagesThe Chargers injury report for Monday night’s game in Kansas City isn’t out quite yet, but we already know that the team is expected to be without a few of its key players.
Pro Bowl guard Kris Dielman is out after suffering a scary concussion and seizure last week. Norv Turner also admitted that running back Mike Tolbert is likely out, as is starting outside linebacker Shaun Phillips.
“You lose a guy that you look at as your best pass rusher and probably our most experienced player in terms of our front,” Turner said. “Yeah, that’s a concern.”
Phillips is the best player on a very ordinary-looking Chargers defense. He has started 61 games; his absence will greatly hurt a poor Chargers pass rush.
Florio and I both picked the Chiefs to win on Monday night. I feel better about the selection after all this injury news.

Chiefs beat a couple crappy teams and here at PFT they’re suddenly the greatest thing since sliced bread.
Phillip Rivers and V Jax NEED to get on the same page sometime this year?!
That secondary is garbage to begin with but with no pass rush at all, it’s gonna be a horror show.
Boonah Brinkley!
With Green Bay coming in the follOwing Sunday, these guys better heal fast!
KC doesn’t care if you put the 85 Bears out there Monday night, we’ll be ready for anyone.
Of course, jump on the bandwagon.

Buddy, I know you’re a Chiefs fan, but please tell me you’re joking.
Seriously.
The whole “Chiefs have beaten a couple of crappy teams” thing is getting really old. News flash…they’re beating teams they should beat and that’s what you’re supposed to do.
The Chiefs that started 0-3 and the current 3-3 version are so radically different that it is hard to believe if you haven’t seen them. Do yourself a favor and tune in Monday night.
Funny Blogatron
they said the same thing about the Chargers when they won the first 3 games, “who did they really beat?” one of them BEING the Chiefs.
But its okay to dog them, but not the Chiefs?
cut….it….out
Should be a BIG time high scoring shoot out on Monday Night.
Everybody talking about the chiefs like their the packers! There 3-3! Horrible qb! One healthy playmaker on offense! Two good defensive players! Their still f
