The 2 times out of 15 that he gets the ball to his guys they drop anyway.

Give him SOME time to grow. Everybody put away the shovels and pitchforks for now!

Despite all this, you folks expect a young QB to thrive? Many HOF QBs have stunk it up their first year plus. During the 3rd quarter the announcers had opined that they needed Tebow to take 3 step drops and get rid of it quickly. That…up to that point it happened only once. Even he could see they weren’t even trying to protect this kid. I couldn’t possibly know for certain if he can succeed in NFL and none of y0u can say he will for certain fail.

As putrid as hes looked the last two weeks, hes 2-3 as a starter.
Let Tebow play. He either gets better (cant get worse really), or they finish 2-14. Then you switch him to TE or whatever, and draft a good qb or d lineman. That was the best plan week 1, and its the best plan now. This team is not going to win now regardless.

It is clear that he is, at best, a career backup, much like a Byron Leftwich, but unlike Leftwich, his presence on a team in disarray at QB only makes finding a solution more difficult.

I will him the best of luck, but both the team and Mr. Tebow will better off if he gets shipped and/or signs with another team with an established QB where he can be the third option.

Teams will figure out how to defend Tebow as Detroit did today. The guy is just not an quality calibre NFL QB. So many player personel types and former players have been saying this for the past two years.

Tebow also has the Curse of Coach McDumbass hanging over his head. No other coach or GM felt that Tebow was worth a 1 round draft pick. Bellichik played his former assistant for the chump he is, and convinced McDumbass that the Pats wanted Tebow and got McDumbass to trade picks to move up in draft to get Tebow.
