LaMarr Woodley goes out with a hamstring injury

The Steelers defense has overwhelmed the Patriots offense so far on Sunday, but they might have to play the fourth quarter without their leading pass rusher.

LaMarr Woodley pulled up and grabbed his hamstring while rushing Tom Brady late in the third quarter. His return is being called questionable. While that’s unquestionably a big loss for a team already without linebackers James Harrison, Jason Worilds and James Farrior, the defense held after Woodley went out. Stephen Gostkowski put a field goal off the upright and the quarter ended with the Steelers ahead 20-10.

The Patriots have their work cut out for them, although Woodley’s absence could help their offense get on track for the first time all day. Woodley had two sacks in the first half for Pittsburgh.

This is bad news for the Steelers, whose defense is not as good as advertised. Let’s hope he gets back on the field soon.

Better get back soon. Will be playing the Ravens next Sunday night. Although not much of an offensive threat, they did beat them once already.

He put in enough work early to be able to sit a quarter and watch. This guy is a beast!

Funny how Woodley played the 1st time around against B-more and it didn’t mean SQUADOOSH! Either way, Sh*tburgh will fold again. I’ll be anticipating all the yellow(good-reason-to-be) crying towels on Monday. I say PigBen will have his nose boken(again) before he limps off the gridiron.
