APWe were expecting a back-and-forth matchup between the Eagles and Cowboys Sunday.
So far we’ve seen a reprise of Philadelphia’s Monday Night whitewashing of Washington a year ago. The Eagles lead 24-0 at halftime during a remarkable display of offense.
Some numbers to chew on: The Eagles ran 38 plays for 324 yards. 20 of their 38 plays went for first downs!
The Eagles have already rushed for 140 yards against the league’s top-ranked rush defense. Michael Vick has 187 yards passing, 45 yards rushing, and two passing touchdowns.
Philadelphia looks like a different team with tackle Jason Peters and defensive end Trent Cole both back on the field. Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee left the game with a wrist injury. He’s officially questionable to return, but we doubt we’ll see him again.
Other than that, it was a great 30 minutes for the Cowboys.
UPDATE: You can watch the second half on SNF Extra and chat with Florio here. Really. The Cowboys are coming back, right?

Forget the Philly offense, I am more amazed by Andy Reid winning a challenge
Been some big upsets this weekend. I guess Philly will upset the boys too. Oh well, they are still the laughing stock of the league.
That Dallas D is getting punished but Rob’s hair looks great tonight!
Sean Lee has a broken wrist or fingers…or both. At the very least, a severly sprained wrist.
At this point, the Cowgirls could have Ray Lewis in his prime in the LB spot and they’d be getting the same beatdown they are now. They look sick.
Romo is out at year’s end…..book it. JJ has seen enough.
this is sad, no heart. looks like last years cowboys
Sean Lee exits during perfect half for Vick and Eagles,
as did the whole cowboy defense
I think it may be the defense tonight not Romo.
Let’s hear it for that Eagles O-Line! They get ripped all over but they’re stopping one of the best right now!
Eagles win the division, no doubt about it now.
Its Andy’s bye bowl he has 12 bye bowl rings !
And now Dallas fans will take the spot Eagles fans were in all year and keep quiet until a division win. Redskins fans are being replaced by the Eagles fans for the Superbowl screamers. Giants fans will be quiet until week 15 and then they’ll be calling for Coughlin/Eli (again).
As the NFC East world turns..
Big loss for Dallas. Lee is going to be a star once they get settled in under Ryan.
Eagles. All hype team
Rob and Rex Ryan. All bloated gas bag team
That is what i call an arse whooping, my goodness.. Andy Reid gets to stay its quite clear the two top teams in the NFC East are the Giants and Eagles, should be fun next 8 or 9 weeks

====================================
They’re playing really well. It seems like the Eagles’ philosophy tonight was to make sure they block Ware and take their chances with everyone else, and Ware’s teammates aren’t picking him up.
Reminiscent of the 44-6 whipping on Christmas in 2008
Its looking more and more like the GIANTS are the team to beat in this division !
Where are all the dream team comments now?
Funny how a few weeks to gel a team together can change them entirely. It’s a long season you bandwagon boner fans.
See you in January.
At least now we’ll be spared seeing Rob Ryan’s name attached to every head coaching job in the league.
Jerry Jones will offer the Dolphins/Colts a bundle of draft picks and the Texas Panhandle for the first pick.
It ain’t happenin’, Jerrah.

Only one word fits here! Tool!
Hate the Eagles, but got to give them credit. They have absolutely steamrolled the Cowboys from the start. Cowboys did not show up at all. Pretty embarrassing.
By the way: can we all agree that the Colts and Cowboys ought to take a break from prime time games for a while?
Ryan is full of hot air. the team is loaded with talent, but has zero leadership.
Oh no, Jerry might have to get another face lift after tonight. Man that D coach Ryan is a hunk.
Rex gets Rob’s meatloaf tonight.
In a PRIME TIME game .. with all the talk,
Ryan is the laughing stock of the league.
there will be NO team afraid of the little-boys Defense.
It is going to get alot worse for Dallas from here on out.
Where’s boysroll at?? LOLOL
JJ and the Cowboys . . . Welcome to LAST PLACE !
Oh well, they are still the laughing stock of the league.
@otis52gsh I would love to know who is laughing now offense that is clicking and a defense that is coming together like everybody thought
Stunning, shockingly poor performance by the Dallas D in the first half. It’s inexcusable. The Eagles weren’t even doing anything special. Straightforward, running the plays you’d expect them to run. Staggering lack of execution by the Cowboys.
It’s appalling, and there’s no justification for it. They looked bewildered, even though this is an Eagles team that’s pretty much what they’ve faced before.
I just don’t get it. Been a Cowboys fan all my life, and I just don’t get how this team can keep doing this. They seem to have a unique capacity to completely lose it on the most fundamental aspects of the game.
And what’s the offense’s excuse for failing so thoroughly against a thoroughly mediocre Eagles D?
Amazing. They find new ways to disappoint every year.
The Dallas D is essentially Ware and a bunch of no name guys good luck, and Romo what the hell was that. Dude is really proving that he cant handle the spotlight.
It was just a matter of time before the Eagles woke up. They can beat anyone when they are on top of their game. I would not want to have them on my schedule right now.
John Taylor at CFT won’t write a single positive story on Ohio State football. OSU wins a nail-biter in primetime in the shoe, and they get no headline.
Who’s Jason Peterson?
Props to Cullen Jenkins For Mocking Crybaby Dez. Lol Hillarious. E A G L E S Eagles!!!!
Brooking should be cut Monday; he got torched on every play after Lee went out; CHOICE would have had more tackles than Brooking had he been given the chance lol!
Jerry Jones said earlier they had this date circled since training camp. I hope he circles the next Eagle game also.
Dear Rob Ryan,
Welcome to the NFC East, where the games are played on the field and not in the media.
Signed

Dallas looked as pathetic as the Denver Broncos did today. But at least Denver has an excuse. The Dallas Defense and Romo are a joke!
It looked like Rob Ryan washed his hair with ashes from an ashtray.
Time for Jerry Jones to put down his pom-poms and face the facts:
1) Garrett is NOT head coaching material – he’s decent man who loves the game, but that’s it
2) Romo isn’t who you hoped he’d be. He’s physically talented but doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude and mental toughness you need. You’re franchise QB is somewhere else right now.
3) The Cowboys are not good, stop sprinkling the pixie dust and hoping for the best. Do something.
Jerry – just think of where you’d be if you hadn’t pissed off Jimmy Johnson all those years ago. Bet you’d have at least 2 or 3 more rings. That’s still gotta hurt – deservedly so.
Wow Garrett’s a moron, 10 running plays??? Makes no sense. I’m not a Romo hater but you can’t have him throwing every down, it’s a recipe for disaster.
Eagles win the Super Bowl in October again! hahaha
It was just a matter of time before the Eagles woke up. They can beat anyone when they are on top of their game. I would not want to have them on my schedule right now.

Talk to me in December and January.
Game was a fluke. Eagles got lucky. It’s that simple. That’s for the Philly “TOOLS”!!

BTW, I loved the look on Romo’s face during this beating.

Big talk from a guy whose team got absolutely crushed. He may be around in Dec and Jan to talk but you may not considering Crapboys may be out of contention. If they are still in contention it’s probably because of a cream puff schedule.
