I hope the Eagles get the opportunity to travel out to San Fanthithco (the lisp…can’t say that without the lithp) … in the play-offs.

That is up to the Eagles at this point…the 9ers can sleep-walk to at least the 3rd seed at this point…

Don’t get me wrong, the Eagles have clearly improved. But regardless of how good the Eagles have actually been, Andy Reid has always crushed teams coming off a bye.

I’m not saying they deserve to be last, and if they were a little higher I don’t think any reasonable person would complain, but after giving up leads and having inconsistent defensive play I don’t know if you can justify a bunch of complaining because they are barely in the top 20.

Add me to the Eagles’ complainer list. 19 is a ridiculous ranking after what they just did in the past two weeks. There was no Tony Romo meltdown…just an ass whooping in all three phases.

The Chargers, Bucs and Raiders are all in meltdown. Look at the reason the Eagles lost games…defense (wide 9 apparently fixed by tightening on running downs), offensive line (apparently much improved) and turnovers (obviously much improved). Tell me they can’t beat anyone but the Packers…maybe Pats and Steelers right now.

The Giants at #6? ROTFL. They almost ended the Dolphins’ Suck for Luck dream.

The Giants and Ravens are either BARELY beating the bad teams, or outright loosing to them (Ravens), and the Texans are DESTROYING the bad teams that they have faced. It should be…

And one more thing, the 49ers have busted ass to get to the top, and by excusing them as a fluke is only gonna get you in trouble. They will work harder to keep their spot at number two….number one if Green Bay drops a game or two.

no excuses. ask the Giants that manage to win despite a ton of injuries. Chiefs are better than the Raiders w/o Charles and Berry. Palmer is a chump. He was ok w/ GOOD receivers. how is he going to be with Heyward-i love to drop the ball-bey, and Jacoby Ford? Getting rid of Zach Miller was classic Raiders stupidity…let alone the stupidity of giving up a 1st and 2nd round pick for a QB that has the same QB rating as Campbell…

Not a Saints fan, but if I had to pick one of these QBs to get me through the postseason it’d be Brees. Could SF win it all? Sure. Is it likely? No, because the SF passing game isn’t up to top tier snuff and your top rated D will still be challenged against passers like Brees and Rodgers.

Wish we were playing you guys at Heinz. Have always thought Arrowhead was one of the toughest places to travel. Your crowds are awesome. The noise last night reminded me of the great days of Derrick Thomas. As a Bama fan, I had a soft spot for KC back then. Of course, the Steelers come first, but glad to see Javier Arenas working out so well with the Chiefs.

We thought Our Chiefs were going to have 2 easy wins at Detroit and Buffalo in week 1 and 2. Both are good but the Lions loss would’ve been at least a reasonable loss has Charles not been lost for the season. I think the whole team went “well, we’re effed” after losing Berry the previous week, then Charles in the 1st quarter.

You must not watch too many 49ers games. They have probably the best 3-4 D-Line in football, they have Willis and Bowman(who is playing so well that it’s like having 2 of Willis), Carlos Rogers who is playing like a pro bowler, and pass rushers who will get to the quarterback.

Also they have the top ranked rush D and one of the top rushing offenses in the league. Don’t see where this leads to Pittsburgh “killing” them at San Francisco.
