I’d repost what I left up here this morning, but it’s pretty obvious that he’d just take it down again. No vulgarity, no threats, just an analysis of his past two Holmes posts and about how contrived they were. But after reading what is posted above most smart readers see my point anyway.

Lets see if I can sum this all up: Santonio Holmes wants more catches, and touchdowns, but is happy because the team is winning. Is that what we’re talking about here?

I would bet you could apply that same sentence to a lot of receiver in the league.

And unless you’re telling me that Santonio would be HAPPIER in a loss where he catches 8 balls and 2 TDs, I don’t see the problem.

Tone isn’t happy. Ocho used to tell us whether he was happy. T.O. talked a lot about his happiness. Moss was pretty vocal when he was unhappy.

Just curious …

Did Paul Warfield or Charlie Joiner or Lance Alworth or Steve Largent or Jerry Rice or John Stallworth spend a lot of time talking to the media about how happy they were?

What I want to know is why the Steelers are so much better than other teams when it comes to identifying wr prospects. Look at all the Steeler wr’s producing right now – H.Ward, M.Wallace, E.Sanders, A.Brown, S.Holmes, P.Burress, N.Washington, etc. That a pretty remarkable job.

If Holmes complains, he’s a divisive force in the dysfunctional Jets locker room on a team that talked a big game but has only managed to be one game over .500 after three losses to teams that are a combined 9-2 at home.

If he doesn’t complain, he’s given up because he doesn’t care.

At the end of the day, all that matters is that you walk away thinking “LOLJETS!”

When does complaining make someone a competitor? Wanting the ball makes someone a competitor…complaining about not getting it makes you a distraction, which seems to be what he’s trying NOT to be by not getting into it with the media.

When I translated this article one sentence came out: Santonio Holmes acted like my website was incorrect in a report that it made so I’m going to write an angry, snarky, and illogical post trying to rip him.

Guess you didn’t take that 10-year advice about not letting your emotions get in the way of a story, eh chief? Hopefully you at least took the advice of not deleting reader comments for no reason…

Also look at the quote that conveniently was left out of this article, which makes Santonio’s intent seem classy and unselfish , but since that doesnt seem sexy enough for this site heres the quote :

“We can’t worry about how many catches and yards and touchdowns we put up each game. We just know that we have to do what we have to do week in and week out to help this team continue stacking wins on top of wins.”
