I love the Steelers, and congrats to Woodley….

But I believe Brandon Flowers is the best CB I’ve ever seen. The guy runs receivers routes BEFORE they do! He makes PrimeTime look slow and Revis look old.

He’s freaky to watch and deserves the same title soon.

Not saying it would be easy for the Steelers to win the division if they lose Sunday but haven’t the Ravens lost to a few “soft” teams this year? I wouldn’t give them automatic wins against any team.

How exactly could the Steelers still win the division if the Ravens win Sunday night? The Ravens would be 6-2, compared to 6-3 for the Steelers, along with having beaten them twice head to head. That would essentially be a 2 1/2 game lead with 8 games left to play. I know that doesn’t sound impossible, but both teams have fairly soft schedules down the stretch. Neither team should figure to lose more than 1 or 2 games apiece, and the head to head edge would factor in the Ravens’ favor.

Oh, I love that Big Wolverine!!!!! He got off to a slow start this season, but he really has come on strong in the last few weeks. Congrats, LaMarr!!! Sure hope he’s able to go on Sunday. But as others have posted, the standard is the standard.

Anyone acting indignant about Woodley winning is either:

1) Stupid, or
2) A blatant homer

Look, Suggs would have been a fine choice. I would have had no problem with that. But Woodley was deserving, too. Good for him. It should be a great game on Sunday.

Oh, for you Sophie: The Ravens are 2nd in the NFL in points per game. The Steelers? 3rd (gasp!). Roethlisberger is 7th in the league in QB rating. Flacco? 30th. Behind…Curtis Painter.

Haha. Ya a real defense. We will watch ray lewis who cant even move from the middle of the field anymore! Defensive backs who couldnt cover high school receivers much less the best receiving corps in the nfl! I expect a monster game again out of BIG BEN..THE REIGNING AFC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK!!!!!!

Can’t talk badly about Woodley winning the award for the month. As much as I love Suggs and what he brings, Woodley certainly deserved the award. And while I would get a certain extra satisfaction if the Ravens beat the Steelers at full strength Sunday night, I wouldn’t shed any tears if Woodley and/or Harrison missed the game either.

Great job! Hope he plays against ravens. But if not. The standard is the standard. Stevenson sylvester will do just fine. Hes fast with a good skill set. Plus afterall hes facing joe flacco. I mean c’mon! Hes a joke! Ravens 3 Steelers 112 Final

Well deserved award by LaMarr. He’s been a monster after a relatively slow start (for him).

It would be absolutely AWESOME if both Harrison and Woodley came on the field with the starting defense Sunday! Stadium would go nuts. But probably won’t happen, too good to be true. Steelers will play with who they have available, as usual.

And Ben should win offensive player of the month.

But beating the Ravens Sunday is more important that these awards!
