I think the Chargers knocked down the colts in their quest to be unbeaten back in 2005! Perhaps history will repeat this year. I think 2005 was also the year we missed the playoffs!

either way, he has been struggling but I think he’ll come around this week. It seems like the Chargers only come to play when the competition is good. It’s been that way ever since Rivers took over. He’ll lose to the Chiefs but then come back and beat the Packers. Very Charger-esque

Phillip Rivers is the most over rated QB just ahead of Eli Manning. Ironically they were the 2 that were traded in that draft.
Rivers cant win a meaningful game. Has a terrible playoff track record, (when games count) and now excuses need made because hes having a bad year. He was never an elite QB unless you talk to the idiot fantasy football people that worship him.
Ill take Big Ben over Rivers any day any time against any team at any stadium.

This is stupid!! So what ?!!??!

Has the press gotten so obsessive and invasive that they now use a lip reader to find quotes to put in a news article???? We already have the players mic’ed up in the field of play, mandatory press conferences, cameras in the locker room, cameras in the pre-game huddles. Where does it stop? What’s next? Mics in the bathrooms? The President of the USA does not even receive this much scrutiny.

it is hard to tell in the slow-mo shot that Tirico commented on..it is plain as day when you see the live shot of him saying the whole sentence…

Tirico put those words into his mouth, if he would have seen Rivers say the whole sentence it is obvious..

Rivers said, “That is so weird. That is the weirdest thing ever.”

Thanks Gregg, more injuries last year so we don’t want the excuses this week. Bye week against Jets, what was that excuse? Crummy against the Chiefs, what was the excuse there? Quit the gum flapping Rivers, and play like last year when you had the injury and hold out issues as excuses and performed at a Pro Bowl level. Green Bay had more injuries last year and won it all. Put up or shut up against standing World champs this week, let’s see if this soft team can hold up with the upcoming schedule vs. GB, Oak town 2x, Balt, Chicago, Buffalo, Detroit.

I think he decried lip readers’ interpretation when he was taunting Cutler from the sidelines years ago as well. We thought he said “WHAT A BABY” he said “THAT A BABY” or something. Can’t quite recall.
I can’t remember ever seeing 2 QBs who openly hated each other more. it was pretty entertaining, actually.
