Thanks for sharing Clay’s unoffical lead in an unofficial statistical category. Lack of sack production is indicative of Clay being a step slow. Gee, I wonder why Samson lost his speed?

In related bogus categoris only Packer fans keep track of, Charles Woodson leads the league in the number of tackles made using only his left hand…BJ Raji leads the league in cheeseburgers eaten at halftime, blah blah blah.

Hey Habib--I just picked this up @ nfl.com--I don;t think thay are all Packer fans,.
» Clay Matthews is being scrutinized by some because his sack totals are down, but he leads the NFL in combined QB knockdowns and hurries (19.5), ahead of league sack leader Jared Allen (18).

You Viking fans can call us Packer fans "loud, obnoxious low-lifes" but at least we support our team unlike you Viking losers. And there was a clear example a few weeks ago last Sunday. That stadium was so empty of Viking fans later in the game, I could hear a "Go Pack Go" chant going on in the background. And it wasn't like the Vikings were getting blown out. They were clearly in contention but I guess that wasn't good enough for you idiots.

captaintriumph says: Nov 4, 2011 3:27 PM
Sure it was a lousy call. I’ve always wished that refs would swallow their whistles instead of making bogus calls, even if it means missing some calls. Missing a call is far better than making a wrong call IMO. That being said, what’s the big deal??? Meaningless game. Didn’t affect outcome. So who cares. It’s not like 2 years ago when the Vikings literally got cheated out of the Super Bowl.
---------------------------------------------------
captaintriumph, you're right, you were totally cheated and robbed of a SB appearance, no question about it. Favre robbed you blind and cheated you out of a SB just by being himself, a beat-up, downtrodden has-been that throws more picks than touchdowns in big games. Just what the hell were you expecting, Aaron Rodgers?

I’d trade you 4 fan arrests and 3 ejections out of a crowd of 75,000 for a starting CB who pulled a gun on someone and then tried to kill his girlfriend with his hands. But I’m not a Vikes fan, so I won’t.

================================
I’d trade you a starting CB who pulled a gun on someone and then triedd to kill his GF with his hands for the I-5 killer.

Check out Randall Woodfield on Google.

Maybe you should check out if your team has had a serial killer on thier roster before you jump on a guy that has commited an assault?

Nah, that wouldn’t be hypocritical, we all know the Packer fan base is the most hypocritical in all of pro sports."

Woodfield was cut by the Packers prior to his killing spree. Your players seem to get in trouble while ON the team. Then again, I'm sure we wouldn't want to look up "Mossy Cade" would we? You know the Aunteater who was signed by the Vikings AFTER his crime and then had to be released because of the public outcry.

Do a google for "Vikings most arrests" and see what comes up. Turns out your team is the most arrested team with 36 arrests since 2000.

Using one or two examples where fan behavior was a bit boorish still doesn't establish that Packer fans are not generally "classy" (I hate that word, but whatever). You are cherry picking a couple of events and assuming that it represents the average Packer fan behavior.

Even assuming the average arrest rate is somewhere above 4 arrests as the article above implies, are you going to make the claim that 6 or even 7 arrests proves the point that the other 73,121 fans are somehow not "classy" people? Yeah, we get it. You've managed to prove the point that every team's fans have some idiots. Congratulations Captain Obvious. Lambeau also hasn't had a rape in the parking lot (Philadelphia), or mayhem where people were shot (San Fran). It seems a good deal (from the above info) get kicked out for urinating in the sinks... big deal.... The metrodump has a trough. At least the Pack were "classy" enough to put in real toilets.

Additionally, your average figures don't take into account the capacity of the stadiums and the fact that Lambeau sells ALL the seats (as opposed to other stadiums that cover their seats to still have a sellout). Lambeau is just out of the top ten in stadium capacity so it figures that the amount of arrests would be one or two arrests higher than average.

Additionally, the specific game's arrest figures you cited probably DID include a number of Viking fans. It was a highly charged atmosphere when Favre came back the first time and Viking fans are not always angels either.

Finally, no where did I say that Packer fans are "extra classy" - my attitude is that they are just like every other NFL team's fans - lots of good folks, couple of idiots. But using arrest statistics at games is inaccurate at best .

jrmbadger–”4 arrests out of 75,000 seems pretty low to me and actually cuts against your case that Packer fans aren’t classy fans.”

Really? You must have missed the part about those 4 arrests being the fewest at Lambeau since 2004. Nice work.”

I’m still right.

In order to properly support your argument that Packer fans aren’t classy by using arrest data at games, you have to provide a baseline (and prove that those arrested are fans of the Packers as opposed to a visiting team). Just saying X arrests at Packer games proves NOTHING until you establish that an average NFL game has Y arrests and that X>Y, and of those arrested all X are fans of the Packers.

Logic Fail on your part.

================================

By the time the Vikings left Green Bay with a 38-26 victory, some 43 fans had been ejected from the 70,000-seat stadium; an additional 13 were arrested for disorderly conduct or marijuana or alcohol offenses. Leaguewide, teams average about THREE arrests and TWENTY FIVE ejections per game, according to Jeffrey Miller, the NFL's director of strategic security programs
----------------------------------------------
No, youre wrong. Using the lowest level stated on this thread of 4- they are still over the average. All others i have seen, are well over the 4.

Proving they aren't fans of the other team? Cmon, are you really going to stoop to that?!

All we here on this site is how great you fans are and sell out every game- now it's "prove" that it wasn't a Packer fan"? get real!

So every visiting teams fans waits to act like idiots until they come to Lambeau? when the league average is 3 arrests and 25 ejections?

How hypocritical can you get?

It's comical that you packer fans defend the most inane garbage.
Why do you defend these guys like they are your relatives?

Face it- this site is a small sampling of the Packer fanbase-loud, inane, obnoxious know nothings.

Add alcohol at lambeau- it's not suprising the statistics show your fanbase as WELL over the leaugue averages for these to points.

Maybe you should check out if your team has had a serial killer on thier roster before you jump on a guy that has commited an assault?

Kiawib:

And Jared Allen has 12.5 sacks, is probably one of only two defenders on the Vikins worth blocking, rushes from the same position (end) on every play, and still has four times as many sacks as Roid Boy. If double and triple teams were the reason for Clay’s paltry sack production, then why do Ware and Allen have 12 sacks? The more obvious explanation? Thigh bruise = no more HGH in Roid Boy.

Your stats are in a vacuum. You're assuming Matthews is of the same caliber as Allen and Ware. Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. Plus, he's been battling that hamstring his entire career.

Why is everyone so damn bitter towards Matthews? What has he done to you to merit so much hate? Until there's any proof of him testing positive for anything, hes innocent. Just like jared Allen. How can he possibly have so many sacks? It's gotta be roids. That statement is just as ridiculous as the one about Matthews. I mean, who the hell was jared Allen before making it in the NFL? Nobody. He worked his ass off and look where it got him. Same for Clay.

Female traits...like men relieving themselves in sinks, or using the women's restroom? Again, Green Bay has the market cornered on that unique (to Wisconsin) cultural trend:

"Police took eleven people to jail and arrested and ejected dozens more during the Packers' win over Miami at Lambeau Field.
