Everyone has been talking about the Redskins collapse after everyone got hurt in Week 6-7 and how they have been so terrible since.

If the Redskins are supposed to be good with their starting LT, LG, WR, RB, and both TE’s hurt…then let’s see the NFC East-leading Giants pull this victory out with just about as many injuries as the Redskins have.

Don’t be surprised if the Giants drop a few games here like the Redskins have been recently.

Injuries decimate a team’s season.

The secondary ain’t great…but the dirty little “secret” is that the LB corps is the weakest unit. There’s a reason Pitt went buck wild on the short passing game last week. The Pats have won SBs with an average secondary before like in 04 when Law and Poole were both out most of the year(granted they had Rodney, but the rest were JAGS). What they had then was a great bunch of LBs.
I really don’t know what to think of their chances on this one. Brady said before last week that the Pitt game would tell them a lot about the team. Well they can’t like what it told them. I think this game will be pivotal either way. It will either start them trending upwards or downwards for the rest of the year.

Giants fans are starting to sound like cowboys fans. While more relevant than a cowboys fan still as annoying. Eli is having the best year of his career and the giants still suck. Umm, to all you pats fans, some of yall say we were lucky to beat yall in that SB, with that pass, but if our O line hadnt given Eli enouigh ti,e he wouldnt have gotton that pass off. some luck was involved, but it wasnt totally lucky. I am looking forwardto this game. I have read, that between the 2 QBs, it is expected that 700+ passing yards is expected. We shall see.

I’m just waiting for a week to go by that I don’t have to read about another Giants injury. 59 games missed by starters so far this year. I thought Coughlin said he was going to eliminate the injuries that was the downfall of the Jim Fassell regime. Oh well, I really hope that Scott and Barden at least get a shot this week.

We’re fine without each of them. Cruz, Mario, Ballard, Barden and Jernigan are enough to exploit them.

Baas out and Boothe in at Center bothers me with Big Vince potentially wreaking havoc. Boothe did not play well the last time he was at center (vs. ARZ). He was sterling at RG vs. BUF.

Not really worried at all. Jacobs doesn’t even have to have a GOOD game, 12-15 carries for 50-60 yards from him is enough.

Ware and Scott will get about 10-12 carries between them. We weren’t going to run the ball more than 25 times anyway.

It doesn’t matter who the Giants put out there for WR’s, the Pats are ranked 31th in the pass D. Jacobs and “hopefully they play him” Scott will get the job done. Jake Ballard will have a huge game. I believe JPP will play and Prince will make his debut. Giants 31 Pats 27

as a pats fan thats the least of my worries. im more concerned about osi, tuck. kiwunaka, and pierre paul. they can all rush the qb and woodley ran by vollmer last week consistently. big test for offensive line of patriots
