I was going to give it a thumbs up, but seriously that is perfect!

Look at the 49ers/Lions game. 3 uncalled penalties committed by the 49ers on ONE play. Maybe in the referees would do their job instead of focusing on one player, the Lions might get a game with quality officiating instead of the garbage calls they have been getting.

Guess what dorks…this is what happens when men play real football on a real football field. Bad things happen, tempers flair, personal fouls get called. It happens in college, it happens in the NFL.

The Lions will be the first ones to say that they haven’t won anything yet, but that doesn’t mean they’re the same team that’s gonna get pushed around and take it. Detroit has team that actually has some real football players on it. Deal with it…or don’t. Either way, start a D & D revival and leave the sport of football to actual fans who not only understand the physical nature of the game, but LIKE it.

I am so sick of this overrated Lions team. Win some games and their bandwagon fans and annoying players and coaches start talking like they’re superbowl champs. Once a Lions always a lion…which means they’ll always be losers.”

I read this as: “I am so sick of tired of this suddenly good Lions team that seems like it might be for real. After these wins their fanbase seems confident and won’t allow people to make them the butt of old jokes anymore and neither will the players. I am so scared they’re for real and my team (probably Vikes or Bears) thus will lose two guaranteed wins per season. Now I’ll throw in a throwaway line that sounds profound, but makes little to no sense and make it gramatically incorrect, inconsistent and add some dots and say they’ll always be losers even though I know they’ll probably beat my team for years now, in hopes of that making me feel better.”

Also, who cares, the Lions aren’t especially dirty, but if they were, well I’d rather have them be dirty and good than meek and bad.

Facepalm. Smith is a DE. Should’ve gone with Bryant Young. Class-act and all-pro when he was playing.

The game came down to one play. Before that they benefitted from being on the right side of some atrocious officiating which incuded giving them an extra 5 yards after a punt.

Once they hit the playoffs and the top teams shut down Frank Gore, if Gore isn’t IR’s by then, the Niners and their fans will have to deal with Alex Smith being the go-to-guy … might as well surrender during the coin flip. Nothing you 49er chumps say can take that pain away.

And Niner fans know that if Smith was a Lion, he’d be the third stringer being Shaun Hill …

Tough. Wins are what matters in the NFL, and to the fans. The Lions are winning, and some of you just can’t accept it. Go get therapy.

The Lions are called dirty, that doesn’t mean they are. Atlanta’s two whining fools were proven to be out and out LIARS. The Lions don’t play the game any differently than any of the teams out there. The same people on here saying that the Lions are dirty are the same ones complaining that the NFL is being made soft by Roger Goodell.

Pick a freakin’ side already.
