The Bills held auditions for kickers to replace the injured Rian Lindell and settled on Dave Rayner for the job.

Rayner’s agent, who also reps Lindell, announced the news on Tuesday afternoon. Rayner played one game for the Raiders when Sebastian Janikowski was injured earlier this year, but the Raiders were shutout so Rayner never got a chance to try a field goal or extra point. He has also played with the Colts, Packers, Chiefs, Chargers, Bengals and Lions.

Lindell is expected to be out about four weeks after injuring his shoulder in Sunday’s 27-11 loss to the Jets. He’s made 13-of-15 field goals and all 25 extra points he’s tried this season.

Per Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bills also tried out Brandon Coutu, Shayne Graham and Rhys Lloyd.
