I unfortunately remember an episode of ‘Jim Rome is Burning’ and Jemele Hill ACTUALLY referred to Stallworth as a “key” acquisition!!!

I prefer washed up players like Stallworth be employed by teams rather than idiots like Jemele to be employed by TV networks!!!

The difference between Stallworth and any of the other people the posters here are mentioning is that he turned himself in after the incident.

Additionally, he wasn’t out at a nightclub, and afterwards decided to get behind the wheel. He was in his home, had gone to bed, and woke up hours later. Unfortunately he decided to go to the store to get some juice or whatever, and still had alcohol in his system early in the AM.

He reached a financial settlement outside of court with the bereaved, and took his sentence without complaint.

He does nothing but contribute the community, donating time and money to positive causes. He did his time.

Mike Sims Walker, Donte Stallworth, Randy Moss, Terrell Owens. The list goes on of receivers who had great potential or were oustanding at there position at one point but have a lot of baggage. Hope this trend continues. If your a player with issues, then your a player who should be unemployed.

I know Danny won’t can both Shanahans after this year, but he can do Redskins Nation a solid and at least send Kyle packing. People are finally starting to realize that what happened in Houston wasnt because of brilliant playcalling by Shanahan but the by product of having the best receiver in the game on the roster.

David Anderson is not flashy, not fast, but he runs solid routes and has great hands. Not saying he is a savory but he makes a decent down the line receiver. For those knocking Kile Shamahan let me tell you, the best year the Texans offensive ever had was when Kubes turned him lose in Houston and let him call all the plays. I haven’t watched any Redskins games this year but I would not blame him.

Beck and Grossman are terrible. So let’s cut a wide receiver!

I can imagine that the QB alternatives out there must be pretty awful and they have to stick with what they got, but still this seems like a team that is once again drifting into oblivion. Never thought I would see that under Shanahan.

As a life long Broncos fan I SMH at Shanny these days. His build a team through FA’s and unknown players worked for a few years and since has died. He takes a lot of risk on guys with not much in return. Knock off signing turds get some talent and make the Skins good again. even though I hate them. They killed us in the Superbowl lol. David Anderson is actually not bad but yeah no starter. I hate to tell you this Skins fans but be ready for Hillis next yr.

On another hand, draft a QB possibly Foles, or Barkley. Get that running game booming and con’t to build the D.

Wow, I had high hopes for Stallworth on this team yet he couldn’t get on the feild for some reason. I would say he provided a legitimate deep threat but…that would mean Beck would have had to throw the ball more than 15 yards.

Come on Shanahan, just start Hankerson and Paul for the rest of the season at this point. Lets see what they have.
