Sounds like it will be the baby boomer generation’s version of the “Tim McCarver Show” also, filled with obscure references to things 30+ years ago, given Costas’ increasing “essays” as his sole commentary.

Good luck to Costas..hope he last longer then “The Pat Sajak Show” (who actually was a better talk show host on the “fake” Gary Shandling Show) and “Chevy”.

The program will be known as Costas Tonight: Live from . . ., with the specific location added for each of the town hall shows, which will feature a studio audience and live guests.

The first episode will air February 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET, and it will be dubbed Costas Tonight: Live from the Super Bowl.

Notice how the 1st episode is not dubbed Costas Tonight: Live from Indianapolis. What’s wrong NBC, no love for that dump Indianapolis? Just like Jacksonville, the Super Bowl has no business in this hodunk town!!
