Bears first rounder Carimi goes under the knife

The Bears offensive line has improved nicely without first round pick Gabe Carimi manning right tackle as expected.

It looks like they won’t get Carimi back anytime soon. The team announced Friday that Carimi will undergo an arthroscopic debridement procedure. Carimi dislocated his knee in Week Two.

It’s fair to wonder at this point when the “Bear Jew” will return this season, if he returns at all.

Boo. I was hoping he would be back soon, but at least the line has been playing better

As a Packers fan, I was bummed when the Bears grabbed this guy before the Packers. I think he’s gonna be good, sorry to see him miss so much time.

Nooo!!! That means we’re one ankle-tweak away from Frank Omiyale again. I hope Carimi has Wolverine-like recovery abilities…

I really like this dude. But why did it take so long? Couldn’t this have been done earlier? What a waste of a season.

please let me know why you keep pulling my reference to “Bear Jew” when it is ok to have it in the article. I just don’t think that is needed to be mentioned at all and not this way.
