APThe Giants officially ruled running back Ahmad Bradshaw out for Sunday’s matchup of division leaders in San Francisco, but they haven’t officially ruled Hakeem Nicks in.
Coach Tom Coughlin said Friday that Nicks will be a game-time decision. He’s listed on the team’s official injury report as questionable, but Nicks sounded very positive about his chances of playing on Sunday by saying that his injured hamstring passed every test.
Wide receiver/kick returner Jerrel Jernigan was also ruled out for the game with a hip injury. That should mean rookie Da’Rel Scott will handle kickoff return duties against the 49ers. Center David Baas and cornerback Prince Amukamara, who is waiting to make his NFL debut, were both listed as questionable.

Not having Nicks or Baas in this one would hurt. This is a quality opponent and those guys are needed to keep it close. So far, as long as Eli has the ball at the end of the game and the score is tight, he’s been able to get the win.
carlos rogers would shut him down anyway!
Nicks toasted Rogers on the daily when he was with the Redskins….Get out of here with that dude. What’s up with our return game though? It’s been in shambles for years now, and I’m tired of seeing Aaron “Mr Jitters” Ross fielding punts, and now we have a rookie returning KO’s? Oh boy…Eli better be on his game Sunday b/c he’s gonna have some bad field position.
Jernigan got hurt on the one and only play he was in last week resulting in Coughlin calling him “One Play J.J.”. Now does that sound like a rigid coach with no sense of humor?
Nicks will be a decoy and Eli will light up the 9ers with his 19 other targets.
Make alex smith beat us which not gun happen giants win
rogers is a new player now that he’s out of washington and eli will meet def roy Mr Smith
“making smith beat us” has been the strategy of every team the 9ers have faced.
it’s gonna be the “ahh shucks” Eli this week ripping his chin strap off.
New York fans know how to talk a lot of s#@& until they get hit in the face pretty good, then they make all the excuses in the world. We’ve seen this movie before, shut up and watch Sunday !!!
Smith aint playd a pass rush like this yet trust me
Cmon san fran not 4real their a fradulant 7-1 cmon u guys are the biggest homers where u goin out in the first round
giants haven’t seen an O line and running game like the 9ers. the 1st round, we’ll have a bye.
It dnt get no betta then mccoy n fred jackson chek ya stats when we allow 100+ we 4-0 go figure
49ers,eagles,saints,packers,cowboys, jets and cowboys again…good luck wit dat 2nd half schedule. you already know.
@udwnwitjpp
Hy, you kind of learned how to read! Good for you.
and good luck with big ol jacobs tryin to get the corner with bowman, p.willy and all day aldon smith
with giants having no running attack, 9ers will drop 8 men into coverage. frustrating elite eli .know what i’m sayin.
S.F. 20 – NYG 6 ….thats whats up
Niners have faced 2 defenses that are better than the giants. The bengles and the lions. For all the giant fans that think this is an easy win. Better strap on that chin strap tight. You havent seen a defense yet like this one. Best defense in the league.
The 49ers: where’d he go, where who go? 9ers are going to be so busy stopping the run they’ll forget about the pass. Smith won’t have time but to lock on his first WR, any longer, strip sack and a few of them we really start to see things fall apart. You’ll know we’re there when they start yelling at each other.
who will be catching these passes for the giants? victor cruz will be the giants best receiver on the field for this game. yes, giants have a great pass rush but the 9er’s strength is running the ball. ask the lions pass rushers.
