On Wednesday, Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs and safety Ed Reed fully participated in practice.

On Thursday, neither guy was there.

They appeared on the injury report as not participating, with Suggs missing practice due to a knee injury. For Reed, it was a shoulder.

Their status for Sunday at Seattle currently isn’t known; Friday’s injury report will contain the official designation for the game. Given the Ravens’ tendency to play down to the level of the competition, the team needs them.

The good news is that center Matt Birk (neck) fully participated in practice, a day after being unable to go. Also, receiver Lee Evans (ankle) has practiced both days on a limited basis.
