The Eagles started the day down one wide receiver thanks to DeSean Jackson’s benching for no-showing a meeting on Saturday and they lost another one before the first quarter was over.

Jeremy Maclin took a shot from Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson while reaching for a pass from Michael Vick. He went right to the sideline and headed back to the locker room with medical staff. The Eagles announced he hurt his shoulder and called his return questionable, although Maclin is back on the sideline and playing catch with Vince Young in the second quarter.

Jason Avant, Riley Cooper and Steve Smith are the other active wideouts for the Eagles in what is a scoreless tie to this point.

UPDATE: Maclin has returned for the Eagles.
