Knowshon Moreno is believed to have “mild sprain” of knee

On a day in which the Broncos lost their top two tailbacks and completed only two passes but still won the game, the news initially is good regarding running back Knowshon Moreno.

Per a league source, Moreno is believed to have a mild sprain of his knee.  Further testing undoubtedly will occur.

There’s no further word yet on Willis McGahee, who exited with a hamstring injury.

Lance Ball handled the duties well, rushing for 96 yards on 30 attempts.  Quarterback Tim Tebow added 43 yards and a touchdown on nine carries.
