BB knew Moss was crap when he traded him away, and nothing has happened to change the fact that Moss has been completely washed up since then.

If injuries happen to Welker, and/or Branch, they could possibly have interest in him this year. But he’s a fool if he thinks they’ll give him anything more than vet min.

Big difference…Moss became a locker room problem (among other things), Branch has been nothing but a class act, and TEAM player.

Remember, in his first game with the Vikes last year, he burned Cromartie for a 40yard TD. And last year was when Revis pulled up lame with an ‘injury’ after Moss burned him.

If you think Moss isn’t still one of the (underestimating) 30 best receivers in the game, and could still be a valuable, possibly the missing piece, to this Pats offense, you’re blinded by your own hatred of Moss – a hatred which never made sense to begin with.

Not true at all. BB is unafraid to make moves that show he’s made mistakes or leave him open to creticism. Look at Hainsworth and Bodden in the past few weeks. Or earlier this year cutting Merriweather (a first round pick) in favor of undrafted free agents. If BB thinks Moss would make the Pats a better team, a call will be made.

BB will let you go if you are a underachiever, but Moss was still very valuable to the team at the time of the trade…so it is obvious something else went down. I don’t think BB want to go down that road again.

If Randy wants to get back in the NFL, why not coach wide receivers? He’d be a good coach, considering that, with his talents, he should have been probably the greatest receiver of all time.

But if Moss comes back now he promises to give 100% effort for the rest of the season and any possible playoff games?

That’s just a strange situation.

I don’t think the Patriots will call Moss, because this would show everyone that Belichick made a mistake in trading Moss in the first place. I just don’t think his ego would let him place the call to Moss.

Not the same…..While Haynesworth and 8-5 have done nothing, Moss did play very well until last year. He also set the single season touchdown record for a WR.

Carolina Panthers pretty much proved how to defense him. whoop his ass at the line, and he’ll eventually go to the sidelines….i respect the fact less that the Patriots would actually sign this dude with 8 to 7 games left for the playoff run, and a much deserved smashdown by the Ravens, Jets or Steelers before or in the AFC Championship.

If he averages four catches a game and plays eight games total this season, that’s $125,000 per catch. Good money if you can get it in this economy…
