Steelers fans should not be so quick to jump the gun here just yet. The Steelers are notorious for losing a few "gimme games" here and there and the perfect kind of game is coming up at Kansas City on a Sunday Night in Arrowhead where the Steelers have a bad history. Let the Ravens and their fans have their glory. They won 2 Super Bowls this year and that is just fine.

Not to mention bengals are gonna win. Your team can only get up for 1 team thats it! Your super bowl was over in week 9. Hope harbaugh enjoyed his gatorade shower! It will be his last.
Abysmal performance by the Ravens, in all 3 phases of the game. So many letdowns this year, this team is truly the definition of inconsistent. No excuses though, they were outplayed.

There is hope though, a win over the Bengals will put the Ravens right back in 1st with an edge in the tiebreaker.

Granted the Ravens suck and play inconsistently and may only show up to play against teams with winning records.

None of this explains why Steelers fans are so interested.

Making some wise remarks here won’t get you those two precious losses back.

Hey stealersfannot:
They won't need the two wins back because the Ravens are so inconsistant. The Steelers will have more wins at the end of the season. But I hope they do enough to get in the post season so we can see round three. Post season advantage... Steelers as we all know. Oh bye the way it's STEEEEEELERS not stealers. The refs are the only stealers in this this league. We all watch them steal wins from certain teams on a regular basis... Oh accept Tom Brady and that cheatin' coach over there.

The Ravens losing is embarrassing, no doubt. Another thing that’s embarrassing? All of the Steelers fans coming on here a week after their team was swept by the Ravens complaining about officiating from a week ago and otherwise talking smack. Or better yet, some idiot calling the Ravens win (singular) over the Steelers a fluke. Just remember…belittling a team that took it to your team two times doesnt make your own team look very good.

Hey John:
The win wasn't a fluke, the BLOWOUT was. That's what was said... IDIOT.

You guys should be able to answer that. You show up on our threads to cackle about every loss, injury, INT, fumble, fine, talk of a player retiring. Why look ... your name is a tribute to the Steelers LOL

Why shouldn't Steeler fans not make comments here? After all, don't fans of other AFC North teams show up on Steeler threads especially after the Steelers lose? That's what a rivalry means. It goes both ways.

I agree that it seems the Ravens are so intent on getting geeked up to beat the Steelers that they have major let downs against so-called weaker teams. They should be in complete control of the AFC North now, in fact the entire AFC, if they played as well against weak sisters as they have done against the Steelers this year. Flacco plays like Montana against the Steelers, and is very inaccurate and inconsistent against everyone else.

I believe there is a great chance the Steelers and Ravens play for third time this season, in the playoffs. And I seriously doubt the Steelers will lose 3 times to the Ravens in one season. The results of the first 2 meetings this year will mean nothing.

GO STEELERS!!

The reasons for yesterdays loss are numerous and cannot be put down to one individual reasons;

- We didn't use our Pro Bowl HB anywhere near enough which in itself is a travesty.
- Our receivers couldnt get separation from the physicality of the Seahawks CB's.
- We missed too many tackles including about 4 in the backfield.
- The playcalling run/pass ratio is not synonymous with the smashmouth prototypical Raven style.
- Flacco under/over throwing receivers when the play was there to be made.

However there were some positives;

- Our OL looked pretty good in pass protection.
- Dickson & Pitta showed that they are deserving of a bigger role in the passing game.

We just didnt execute in every facet of the game, be it fumbling the ball on ST, making stops on D or moving the ball on O. We are not a bad team but we are not playing like a great team, Joe Cool is an above average QB but is he Brady, Rodgers or even Ben? No - then why try and use him like them? I would much rather us use him like the 49ers use Alex Smith - not rely on him to win the game, just rely on him to not lose it, (a modern day Trent Dilfer perhaps?). Our D has played lights out pretty much all year but they all looked a step slow yesterday with Webb being the only bright spot from the game in my opinion. We have possibly the best FB in the game and what are we trying to do with him - hit little out routes instead of pounding the rock in behind him. C'mon Man.

Granted the Ravens suck and play inconsistently and may only show up to play against teams with winning records.

None of this explains why Steelers fans are so interested.

Making some wise remarks here won't get you those two precious losses back.

I still can't believe that scrub offense and that scrub excuse for a QB beat the Steelers last week. Well I guess if the right call is made by the ref (pushing off on the offense) on the last TD pass they wouldn't have. Hopefully the Ravens can get consistant enough to make it into the playoffs so the Steelers can knock them out AGAIN... if the refs allow it. Hey refs how about a flag next time Ray Ray or any other Raven goes for a head shot. The league saw it but these old, blind refs don't call it to set up 1st and goal for the Steelers. A TD there is the difference in the game. No matter when it counts the Ravens will fail AS ALWAYS!!! Superbowl caliber teams like the the Steelers come back after a loss like last week, go on the road and win like the Steelers did yesterday... not lay an egg like the Ravens did... but thats what Ravens do I forgot.

Suggs did nothing last week but accept a gift interception, otherwise he was OWNED by Max Starks. It showed this week as he was invisible. Ray Lewis is still looking for his jock after that fake-out by Lynch. So is the "great" Ed Reed LOL. Flacco... well once again he became Joe Flacco.

All in all, a perfect Ravens Sunday. Aaahhh...

This one's for you, Baltimore! Yeah, right John. Maybe you ought to replace your OC Cam Cameron after he totally abandoned the run in favor of Joltin' Joe F. throwing wounded ducks toward the Seahawks' secondary. I hope we get to see the Ravens go for the Hat Trick against the Steelers this year. Yeah, John . . . this one was indeed for Baltimore today!

Too bad we can't play the squealers every week...The Bengals and there baby q-back will NOT sniff a win at the Bank. Whatever our shortcomings have been on the road this year, they will roll at home. Dalton isn't Palmer...yet, the Bungles just lost there #1 corner, and Lee Evans will be back. The down low is he could have played today but they kept him out to play it safe. The division will be back where it belongs, in Charm City. Browns fans, you really, really do not have a dog in this fight. You are inept, bad, impotent, anemic, etc...
No 49er fan, Jim will not beat his brother. Not in Ray's house, and Lynch will be back to his usual role of insignificant in 24-48 hours. Good night.
